-I would rather have pre-2005 Butch back instead of Tim in any capacity
-the '04 songs are in my top 20 DMB songs, Crazy Easy in my top 10
-sick of two step, watchtower, jimi thing
-don't like covers
-don't mind Out of My Hands or Stolen Away live
-seek up is too long
-#41 is overrated, not in my top 20

-I love DMB, and I don't like to bitch about what they play because I am happy that they still play and put on a great show for their fans.

-I prefer the Busted Stuff version of Captain to the LWS version.

-I enjoy Can't Stop, Blackjack, Corn Bread, and even Hunger For the Great Light. Sure, they aren't as amazing as the Dreaming Tree, Bartender, #34, and Warehouse, but I still think they are good songs and I don't mind seeing them live.

-I will take Tim in any form, at anyplace, and at anytime, because I really think he is that amazing

-I enjoyed Butch, and wouldn't mind if he returned

-I consider BWGK part of a "big 4" with Crash, BTCS, and UTTAD.

Two Step is best when it's <10 minutes
I don't mind Angel that much
When they "jam" songs out for 18 minutes I get bored
Boyd Tinsley could quit the band and I wouldn't be too upset
"Yeah the setlist wasn't great but the band sounded so tight!" is so trite

I'd prefer keyboards to Tim Reynolds. I liked Butch.

Though I loved LeRoi I would take Jeff Coffin over him any day (Jeff could solo for 20 minutes and I would probably enjoy it).

The longer the song live usually means I like it more. I love the jams and they are a huge reason I love the band as much as I do (I find Dave and Tim VERY boring).

Sorry if one of these doesn't fit in this thread. From my small amount of time on this site it seems like many feel the exact opposite of this.

I enjoy Cornbread, Old Dirt Hill, Hunger for the Great Light, and You and Me. Although not the best songs musically I'm a sucker for anything lyrically romantic and/or sexual that reminds me of my wife. It could be 3 chords of I-IV-V and I'll still be into it.

I like D&T Crush but not full band Crush because, while I like the song, I really dont like the outro jam.

I think the outro jam on dreaming tree is beyond boring.

I would be ok not hearing Gravedigger or Some Devil again.

I like Time Bomb. I think its a good main set closer.

And even with the two Jams and handful of songs I dont really care for, I'm not really bummed when they play them at shows. I just sit down, breath deep, enjoy the fact that I'm at a wonderful show with great musicians and good people, and wait for the next song which will probably be one of my favorites.

So Damn Lucky (even though it isn't a DMB original) and Loving wings are the two best things the band has done in the past 10 years. The Gorge 2002 is also their best live album.

-I like Busted Stuff much more than LWS.
-Busted Stuff is my favorite DMB album.
-I can not grasp the tumult every year about song selection. I prefer the band jamming new songs rather than going to a show with a setlist from 1998.
-Ants, Two Step, PNP>Rapunzel, Jimi Thing, #41, Crush can all be shelved. They take up too much time in a show and I've heard them at every show I've been to.
-I prefer a Dave and Tim show to a DMB show.
..........-Welllllll, thats not entirely true. Dave just plays a wider variety of songs. There is nothing like tailgating at a DMB show.

Even though I've heard it at every show I've ever been too (including last nights show), I still enjoy cornbread when its played. I also don't mind Can't Stop and Blackjack live. (the only two songs I truly hate are HFTGL and Mother Father)

I don't really care too much about lyrical quality so much as vocal melody quality

a bad setlist doesn't bother me so much.

Boyd is my least favorite member of the band.

i would rather hear DMB do a cover of a Shakira song than listen to Dreaming Tree. there are way too many words and if i even liked the song it would probably take listening to it a hundred times before i could remember all of the lyrics.

1. Big Whiskey was better then LWS, as was Busted Stuff.
2. Sugar Will sucks live
3. I wish Kill the King and Idea of You were on a studio album
3. I don't want to hear 'rarities' at shows if it means 85% of the crowd will be bored out of their minds. (#34, Minarets, PWFYG, etc)
4. I'm optimistic about the new album after hearing the new songs (and building from the progress of BW)
5. Setlist watching is overrated

As a side note, I absolutely love this thread.
