Theater D&T were "harder" imo because the volume wasn't up as high and peop,e would yell and such.
D&F d&t along with the recent D&T the volume was cracked up more because of the venue sizes and in turn drowned out lots of the screamers.
Dmb you have high volume but you also open the door for screamers. At least at d&t you have more people who try and b respectful due to the old school nature of it all.
2 sets was hard because the volume was generally set more for electric with acoustic being lower. Add that many people were not in their seats, there was extra noise in the acoustic sets
As for mixing, I'm sure it's easier to mix less gear so d&t has to be easier imo
