Awesome news to see DMB hitting up Montreal again - fantastic.
Out on the island as well, where the Formula 1 race takes place.
I'm ecstatic!!!

Parc Jean Drapeau - I was super pissed I wasn't going to make the trip to Montreal this year for the race - thanks DMB!!

Man this is going to be an AWESOME location for a DMB show.

Has anyone been to a concert at Jean Drapeau before? All standing room? In this case, will Warehouse members have a roped off section at the front? Is it first come, first serve standing room?

I have never been to a show at Jean Drapeau before - but I've been to the F1 race 8 times!!

Totally stoked to see Montreal back on the circuit. One of the best cities for restaurants too.

I remember from the 03 show that Montreal tickets were through the WH and Admission.com

I think I saw GEG.ca mentioned on the DMB website.

I'll warn you all know - GEG has a BRUTAL system for ticket buying. I just went through it with UFC tickets.

It's nothing like Ticketmaster/Admission, where you just go on to the site, and F5F5F5F5 until the tickets go on sale. On GEG, they have a "virtual waiting room" that opens 1 hour before on sale time. When you get in the "waiting room", you wait until it's your turn before you can get in for tickets. And it's not first-come-first-serve - it's random.

I went to see Jack Johnson there last summer. It's a great spot - all general admission on a nice sloped hill. You can see from anywhere. Here's a picture of it:http://tinyurl.com/d866sf. Mind you the set up will be a little different, but you get the idea!

Grab a hotel in Montreal and take the metro in and out to the island. It's quick and easy.

I think as of right now, you only need a birth certificate and driver's license... not sure when they're changing the requirements, though.

When I was there it was first come first serve... not sure how it will go down this time. Don't you think there will be a WH preferred section?

As for when the gates open, I'm not entirely sure. I was there during a festival, so I imagine it was different. I'll double check with some friends who went and saw Radiohead there and see how it all works.

You need one to fly into any country cuurently. However, you can cross with a BC/DL now...HOWEVER the laws change again June 1st and you need a passport to go to any foreign country...well you really need it to get back in the US. Let's face it, Canada will let you in with a note from your mom.

When my buddy saw Radiohead the gates opened 30 minutes before the show started. That seems ridiculous! I really hope they have WH preferred now...

Well I am going to the Court House tomorrow to get my Passport, as it taked 2-6 weeks. I cant wait. I though they would never come back to MTL!
