My friend Shawn was in Bangladesh for the Peace Corps. His lady friend that he met there is from Vermont. She is having a party this weekend because she's heading out for another trip to Jamaica. He asked if I wanted to ride along. We'll probably spend a day in Boston then go to her place in Vermont. I've been there before. My great grandparents are from Vermont.

I post in this thread because some people in here whom I have had the good fortune of meeting I consider friends. I realize at times it may be difficult to see the fault in one's friends. Perhaps though before you start throwing out insults and making claims as to who was acting out like three year olds you should evaluate exactly what went on and who did what.

And the "comment" you made, while you may have intended it to cheer someone else up, was in fact, talking shit. If you're gonna do it, at least man-up about it.

I really don't think you guys get it. Do you know how many times Melissa has fucked people over in here? No, you don't. She wouldn't tell you that. I'd be glad to tell you if you wish, but it has been multiple times. Did we get mad at her? No. We didn't stop talking to her or being her friend.

We chose to do our own thing at Star Lake because there were so many people going we couldn't all possibly travel together. We were friendly to everyone we met. We were only at the campsite for a couple hours each day before we left for the lots. We don't see eachother more than a couple times a year, we wanted to hang out with the people we know and don't see often. Of course we all hung out together as a group. Melissa made no effort to hang out with us. One of her best friends decides a week before the shows to come to surprise her and she can't find more than a few minutes to talk to her? Then she goes on to say she didn't like the way we acted during the couple days. Nobody in here was antisocial to her or anyone else.

We just don't want to deal with the drama she seems to bring to everything in her life. We gave her several chances. For her to screw over people with only a few week to go before alpine would be what I consider "acting out like self righteous 3 year olds." Then she tries to make up a story saying it wasn't her decision and is afraid to talk by phone so she sends texts. All she had to do was come out and explain the situation instead of hide from it.

You two clowns coming in here and defending her is not going to help. It only shows she is hiding behind you. We know she still reads the boards. Just show up and explain yourself.
