Re: The real Titletown (LASportsC)
If Boston is "titletown" how come most of the prominent athletes who play professional (or have recently, and won titles) want to live in L.A? Even the most famous Boston sports fan made that choice. The best athlete in the history of the city hates the city, and hasn't been there in nearly 40 years (approx).
I know that Boston sports fans, to make themselves feel more important, want to make the absurd rules of what counts as a title and what does not. Counting hockey titles even though it is barely more popular than soccer (or is it), but not college football, which is probably the second most popular sport in the country? Now, if Boston wants to call itself "Pro titletown", that would make more sense, but they'd still be behind NYC.
