I knew the image before I clicked it...

A T-shirt with "I survived..." and them that image would be legendary. There are some folks that won't be amused, but most folks would get a kick out of it. Just don't make it navy blue!

I'm taking my girls to Bristow and then my hubby and I are attending Sea Hear Now. We're staying down in Point Pleasant.

Others will probably have some more info than I do, but walking is tough. This place is a bit in the middle of nowhere.

Nothing but industrial businesses near by. And they're not even smart enough to make some extra cash from parking. To be fair, maybe they aren't allowed to...I just wish they did.

Not sure there is anything in walking distance, but I've always stayed at the Candlewood Suites. Nothing special but it's nice and I think its technically the closest one to the venue. Been able to book it for around $100 in the past.

My Buddy from Va Beach stays at the Hampton Inn in Gainesville and walks to and from the venue. Under 2 miles I believe.

SpringHill Suites by Marriott Gainesville Haymarket

It's 2 miles from the JLL. I'm sure if you meet up at the tailgate you'd able to hitch a ride to the venue, after is always questionable. The good thing is, if you're walking, there is a brewery about half way between the hotel and JLL.

Still planning on bringing the jello shots, a pile of bacon, and maybe some shrimp.
