    I remember Nancies dot org. Remember reading how the live versions of the stand up songs were a lot better than the studio versions.

    Halloween was one of our OG FTP Siteops. The initial digital effort to spread the music. We had an automated system to check into our FTP servers and get live status on how many slots were currently in use/open. That was before the Ants Downloader.

    Blows my mind how much we've truly done in 20 years. That is a distant memory and yet I remember all of that effort as so important for all of us.

    Started on nancies and posted there regularly, and was a hardcore lurker on amidreaming and anyoneseenthebridge, before joining Ants. Ended up sitting next to the guy who started nancies at a show in 2004. Time flies.

    When that went down the users moved to ufck.org and then when that stopped being a DMB specific board they created thesedayscontinue.org, which is still going.

    I started on dmbml and nancies. My fondest memory of nancies was when Stephen Harris joined and started arguing that Busted Stuff was not a let down compared to the Lillywhite Sessions.
