Thanks, using the tapatalk app and they wouldn't open. I went onto my computer to look. I appreciate the info. The 202 aa-kk for five shows didn't seem like a bad deal considering all the other peripheral amenities.

Yeah, I'm trying to determine if it's a better deal for us to spring for the season tickets or go premium both nights (if we get approved). If we go with ST, no swag and have to buy the posters, and they're more expensive especially if we don't go to other shows. But if there are a few good shows this summer it would be worth it. I'm not a Jimmy Buffet fan, so I may have to wait until their schedule is out before I decide.

I was at that Alpine show. There was something incredible about it. His comment right before dido was awesome stuff well. The storms after the show were blowing people's tents away. We had to pack up about 4 in the morning. That was when you could camp on people's properties across the street from the parking lot.

I agree on buffet, but i have heard those concerts, especially at alpine are insane!

I heard rumors of Phish, Budget for sure, and I wouldn't be surprised if Dead and Company did a show up there.

Just spoke to the guy that does the season tickets....

He says this is going to be the biggest year Alpine has had in 10 years. Looks like those rumors about 5 acts might just be true!

Also he said that announcements are EXTREMELY VERY VERY close. That's all he could say.

The big year at Alpine makes me want to spring for seasons, but I'm still on the fence. I'm definitely not paying that if the other acts are like Fetty Wap.

Oh man...you're not a Fetty Wap fan?! You're missing out! I mean what's not to like about a voice that may be the most annoying tone on the planet yelling out 1738 every 45 seconds?!

I looked into this a couple years ago when they had Coldplay, Buffet, maybe one other show, and DMB. If I remember correctly they charged a crazy surcharge and tax...like 18-20% on top of the season tickets.

Still though, if Alpine gets 10 shows even if only 5-6 are quality that's a not a bad deal.

Did they say anything about surcharge?

No surcharge other than sales tax.

The flyer says a 5% surcharge.
The tickets are for 5 shows. Anything additional you have the option of purchasing your seats first. If you decline, then they are released. I forgot to ask how much for each show though I'm assuming the price divided by 5.

Right, they just price it by the season, not individual shows. If they added another show, the price would be 1/5 of the package price.

That's what did it for me, my buddy dragged me there in 2006, we closed a bar down in Marshall Minnesota (Southwest Minnesota) on Saturday. At 2am we headed for Alpine Valley with no tickets in hand for a sold out Night 2 show. We got there and the whole vibe was great, first it was the people that got me. Walking around in the lots, people were all in it together, every one having a good time. We stood in the box office line for about an hour and they released more lawn tickets. It was Warehouse that did me in and I was hooked.

How electric the atmosphere and how plugged in and in sync the crowd is with the band there. Even last year on N2 with the sparse attendance the place just felt so ALIVE. And all it takes is one trip to Alpine to get it - you just feel it right from the moment the band takes the stage.

I think 5.30.98 is my favorite show of all time. There was an innocence of something magical happening nearly 35,000 experienced that night. My goodness.

Didn't really think about that 10 years ago. The Gambler in Marshall Minnesota, stopped off in Rochester, for a quick nap.

ALPINE VALLEY RESORT IS COMPLETELY SOLD OUT FOR THE 1ST WEEKEND IN JULY.

Some people have been booking since November. Sorry. Keep checking only because the computer system is live. If someone cancels, someone else can pick it up ASAP.
