Because they knew they couldn't just take this summer off? Had to play this summer with the announcement that next summer they're taking off?

They don't want to be there. Plain and simple. Collect checks so Dave can go to his winery, Boyd can do whatever the fuck he does, Fonz can do all his side projects, etc. DMB is simply an obligation and a paycheck at this point.

While I'm not THAT down on the band, my expectations going into my 2 shows a year allow me to enjoy it every year. I don't go to multiple stops, just one 2 night stand and if it's either Alpine or Deer Creek I know I'll leave entertained. That's all I ask. And then randomly u get those holy shit shows that remind u y u see the band every year. I'm okay with them not being the most creative band touring cus I couldn't give less of a fuck what they just played in Mansfield or in Maine or wherever else they are. Just give me solid shows when I see them and I'll keep going...

... All that said they better play Last Stop at Alpine this year lol

Plans have changed and my girl can no longer make the trip. Something about a family reunion, rough. Looks like I will have an extra LN pit for N1 that I would be open to trading for either a N2 pit or solid lower single.

This summer has now turned into a solo tour for myself. I don't hate it

I enjoy going to shows by muself. My current seat buddy, for 6 years now knows to keep to himself. We are there for DMB not to chat. Not having to explain anything or worry if they are enjoying themselves is nice.

I was just out watering the flowers and some weeds not sure which are which as wife is outta town. Anyway I was aiming the hose upward so the flowers felt as it was rain. As I'm holding a beer and wearing a muscle shirt ( I'm fat, no muscle) sure the neighbors were laughing and feeling sad at the same time seeing me.

Sorry not sorry. You'll likely have a better time. I love my husband and I love getting away with him. I'd probably have a better time flying solo to shows though.

I do the same thing! I try to simulate rain so they feel all natural. I suspect it doesn't make a difference though since I kill most things that are alive.

I'm kind of getting to the point that the concert is an after thought. I just want to party with you and see what kind of horrifically awesome decisions we make throughout the weekend!
