$3.45

Gas is $3.45 a gallon in Northeast Ohio. i don't know about the rest of you but this might seriously affect my touring plans this summer!

How bout the rest of you? by may we'll be looking at $4.00 a gallon.

I've budgeted $4 a gallon for my trip to Alpine in August.

I saw it jump by $.10 today at a gas station as I waited in traffic at a red light. Unbelievable. I'm not sure what's worse - the mortgage crisis or $4.00/gallon for gas...

    welcome to ants postime,

yes group rides are better. we usually pack 4 in a car and go. but it still hurts the fun when you try to do 6+ shows a year.. i remember in 96 when gas cost .90 those were the days.

I'm expecting $4-4.50 this summer. Its gonna suck, and its part of the reason why I'm not going to Alpine, or even to Ohio this summer.

I'm still trying to figure out how the hell I'm getting to Rothbury (I'm commuting from the Cape, mind you). I'd like to carpool with someone nearby because taking a plane to the festival just sounds damn hypocritical, but know that in doing so I'll have to pay out the ass.

We just broke the $3 mark here in upstate SC. I'm not sure about what shows I'll be going to this summer. These gas prices are killer.

seriously, this blows. i have a little car and all, but 3.45 is still 3.45. this could definitely do some damage for this summer.

$3.25 in eastern pa. I was planning on hitting SPAC. I am unsure I can afford the gas to drive up in my car. Its going to cost me prolly $150.00 round trip.

Its pretty bad with gas when my wife's 4 cylinder Saturn takes $50.00 to fill it up.

I suppose that remains to be seen. Jet fuel is similar to car fuel in that as the wholesale price increases the consumer tends to pay more. Don't be surprised if flying ends up being as expensive if not more than driving this summer (hint: carpool).

nope, this won't affect my traveling to DMB shows. Gas prices are always changing, they will go back down, they always do, although we are in a recession.

gas is one of the main reasons I cancelled my plans for Berkeley.

oh well, still going to 7 shows (even though they're all in the first half of the tour). I wanted to go to the second half of the tour shows as well, especially to catch songs they'll bring back late in the tour.

No, people in the true industrialized world use renewable and sustainable energy. It saves a ton of money over time, and allows businesses to be more self-sufficient.

Naive people in the industrialized world use gas.

It's tough going to all of your shows in one half of the tour, particularly the first half. I've had to do that a few times and it's always been a huge frustration.
