had hopes for a selma show this year.

anyone heading to the texas shows from san antonio definately get in touch with me. maybe we could get a big group of people and make the trip more fun

I know this sort of question gets asked over and over, but I think I'm finally going to break down and join the Warehouse, what kinds of seats have yall gotten for the Texas shows? Do you consistently have decent luck, or like anything is it kind of a crapshoot and you just hope for the best?

Joined in 04 and have gone to TX shows '05, '06 & '07. Have gotten reserved seating every year and seats have improved every year, but still in the upper section of reserved.

Doing Dallas and The Woodlands again this year. Hope the Dallas show is a little better this year than last year, as far as the energy in the crowd. Dallas seemed dead compared to the woods show, we were really disappointed with that. The Woodlands show kicked ass last year, the energy was so high in the crowd, it was pretty incredible. Also doing my first D&T show in Seattle 4/12.

Looks like we'll be doing the TX route again plus OKC in front of them. While I'm grateful that OK got a home show, I'm not too excited about a mid August GA mob on the ball field. The Cynthia Woods Pavillion will have to make up for that! Maybe WH will hook me up with some lower pavillion seats finally. Probably will sit next to the same WH members again this year at the TX shows!

Yeah. I don't think they'll ever return to Selma. Don't know why. The venue itself was alright. Maybe poor ticket sales? Who knows. I really wish they'd ditch Starplex/Smirnoff/whatever it's called now and try Pizza Hut Park in Frisco.

I respectfully disagree. I think the venue in Selma is fucking awful, especially the lawn seating. I think the sound is terrible as well.

I think you're right about poor ticket sales. I don't think it ever sold out in the 5 years they played there.

All that said, I do wish they would still play there, because we got decent set lists when they played there and bottom line is, it'd be one more Texas show.

Me too. The tailgating scene might be lackluster, but I think it's a really great venue. They played some really nice sets during those 2 night stands there too...

Yeah. No tailgating but it's without a doubt the best 'shed' in Texas.

No tailgating at the woodlands. There are a few bars and restaurants close by. Baker street pub was really popular pre and post show. I think tailgating is allowed in Dallas.
