#41 with Everyday

I really like it when #41 is played with Everyday as the outro. I had the pleasure of hearing it this summer in Pittsburgh. I am curious though as to where and how it originated. Like did the audience just start chanting "Everyday" during the jam and the band just sort of caught on or what? And when was the first show they started playing this? The first time I ever heard it was on the Golden Gate Live Trax, but I have a feeling they started playing it before that. Any info would be cool. Thanks.

According to the DMBalmanac the first one was 12/3/00 at Target Center, which happened to be my first show.

Dave just started jamming and singing this outro which eventually became the song Everyday.

I'm sad at the prospect that my first #41 could come with the everyday outro. It almost ruins the entire song, imo.

It doesn't always happen. I think (nowadays) that it only happens when the boys play

I don't mind it at all.... Everyday is not my favorite song, but I'd rather hear it as an outro than as the full song.

I'm the opposite of a lot of people. I like the actual song Everyday, but I dislike the #41 outro.

Same here. Like the song, dislike the outro. But #36 is better than both put together

I agree, it's one of those things that I do when I'm at a show and at a show only. You won't find me doing the woo's while listening to a show any other way.

Nope, Everyday (the song and the album) were already written and recorded by that point.
