I think I might be in the same boat. I'll give it a little more play time until deciding if I want a refund from Steam, but so far I'm not fully sure I understand the hype.

Started Spider-Man on Sunday. Holy crap. What an incredible game so far. It may be the best interpretation of the character in terms of gameplay. When it opened up and gave me free reign of NY I skipped all the missions and just ran around the city being Spider-Man. I'm blown away. I can't wait to jump back in this weekend.

Played the remastered version on PS5 over the holidays for the first time and am about halfway through Miles Morales. Loved it! Traversal was a blast and the combat was deep and super fun. Enjoying Miles a lot too, although I probably should've taken a little break between them tbh. MM doesn't do anything to reinvent the wheel from the original (not that it needs to) so it kind of feels a bit like a beefed up DLC to me playing them back to back. But it's just as fun, that's more of a timing/burnout thing on my part. Excited to see what the future holds for the series.

This is good to know. I was thinking about going straight into it when I finished but I'll pop into one of the other games I have in my queue.

Not sure how far I am into Jedi Fallen Order (maybe past halfway) but I am still really enjoying it. Nice that it got a next gen patch yesterday as well to make the rest of the game look/run even better.

I keep accidentally reading spoilers for the rest of this game when I don't mean to. I waited patiently for this one to come to gamepass (or EA access) but the second one will definitely be a day one purchase for me.

Yea its super dense, even the map itself. Im around level 130 and it looks like I havent even hit the halfway point.

Raids are awesome as are the skills you earn from books of knowledge to use in fights, but I think overall the fight mechanics were better in odyssey.
