Re: ** Official Nashville 2019 **

Can any locals comment on if East Nashville is a decent area to stay in? Typically when in Nashville I usually stay in Franklin because it's a super nice area and the hotels are infinitely cheaper than downtown, and I don't really mind the 15 mile or so drive in to town. I've stayed by the airport before too and that's even closer. But there's some really nice looking AirBnBs at good prices in East Nashville so was thinking of doing that for this trip.

True, but I'm bringing my son so I'll need 3 tickets. 3 can be a bit trickier to find.

Yes East Nashville is fine. It is trendy. The funny thing about it is that some areas can be a little rough (or maybe just old is the best word) and then 2 blocks over you have super expensive homes.

You'd be fine with anything in that area.

Awesome, thanks! I figured it was kind of a transitional/party gentrified area and that's why the mixed reviews. There was one place in particular I was looking at where all the reviews noted it was a really nice condo but is right adjacent to a housing project and the area wasn't safe to walk in at night. Most places though all seem like great spots, think I'll go that route.

I wouldn't walk from East Nashville to Bridgestone/Broadway, but it would be a cheap Uber ride away.

While downtown is what most tourists know, there are a lot of awesome bars and restaurants in East Nashville.

Yeah, planning to Uber for sure. Not sure if it was East Nashville, but last time I was in town I went to this super cool place called Vinyl Tap that was like a combination record store/craft beer bar, really awesome.

There are some Deer Creek center lowers on Stub Hub for $2262..could be a good return on investment at 20%

Surprised there aren't more pre-sales for this show. Only a Citi one. Wish there was a venue and Spotify presale too.

Looks like I got 3 at the 115 price point. If I got GA and someone has 3 reserved floor I'd be happy to trade.

I got hard charges for 4x $115. Hopefully all of us aren't in the back 2 rows of floor seating.

At least we'd be together, I guess.

Hard charge for 2 x $115 for me also. I did not go for Pit (taking my dad to the show who will be 69 when it rolls around, no way he could stand all night.) . Happy it looks like most folks are snagging their first choice for this one!

I got a hard charge for a pair of $115 as well! Hope I pulled pit, but will be ok if we got floor seats or lowers too since I have good seniority.

I think you're better off staying in the Gulch. The area with the capitol still downtown but feels separate and on the outskirts from the traditional downtown scene. Not sure if that makes sense...

Plus, Whiskey Kitchen and Yazoo Brewing are both in the Gulch.

I'd agree. The area around the capitol building is very business-oriented (shuts down at 5pm).

I never look for temps or my credit card statement prior to the WH posting the confirmations, but I had to pay my bill today and saw I had full charges for Nashville (and looks like all reserved for Deer Creek).

I am hoping for lower bowl. I'd be OK with reserved floor but I'd actually rather be able to see over everything. Taking my dad who is older and won't be able to stand the entire show.

Have the Preds season ticket holders heard anything about concert packages yet?

I'm not a STH but I am on Bridgestone Arena's mailing list. Yesterday I got two separate emails about arena pre-sales for upcoming shows (Pentatonix and Chainsmokers). I wonder if they'll have any for DMB sometime next week.
