i will drag my pops to see a show every now and then....he still needs his 'fix' at least once a year. he is a big Phil fan so we usually go catch a P&F show

    What's everyone's favorite Dead cover?
    Mine is El Paso...followed very closely by Good Lovin'.
    The drums in the middle of Good Lovin' are mindblowing.

    yeah i am going to see DSO on jerry's b-day (august 1st) at the Saranac Brewery in Utica, NY

    i have only seen DSO a few times...i enjoy them a lot. i went to the 30 yr. anniversary show of the famous Cornell '77 show last year in Ithaca. One of shows i have ever been to in my life

    ^^ wierd that i just mentioned that DSO show from 5/8/07 (30 yr. anniv. show from Cornell '77) anyway, i just read on jambands.com that the DSO show is being released as a double DVD. nice!! i love having dvd's from shows i was at.

    I have it. Got it for Christmas about 5 years ago...when it first came out, I guess.
    It's a must have for hardcore Dead fans.
    A LOT of unreleased material on there.
    The earlier stuff (Birth of the Dead - from the Scorpio Records days) is my favorite - really cool...very Beatles-sounding. Some nice covers, as well as original Dead material.
    Definitely worth it if you love the Dead.
