Glad to hear it, he is damn reliable. He may surprise you with points though because he is capable of running up assists and with McDavid or Driasiatl on the ice he can thread a stretch pass to spring a breakaway as well as anyone - I cannot tell you how many times I saw him do it. Understand completely about not being close enough to know the local feeling - I am a Hawks fan in Connecticut!

He is unreal, almost inhuman. He may well break the record for fastest guy to 1,000 points. After say his first two years I kept waiting for the league to catch up with him but he keeps getting better and better. He as for pure goal scorers he is up there with Bossy (probably the best FWD I know of as far as goals) and Ovechkin as far as guys I have watched and with his playmaking ability to threat a needle with a pass to give a team-mate a tap in (or breakaway) he is up there with Gretzky or Kane IMO. Just an amazing combination of skills.

I swear the NY Rangers hate me . Only game I have been able to watch all year was the crap opener against the Caps. They win 4 straight on the road so I caved and got ESPN plus to watch tonight and they get rocked by the Flames (who are a lot better than I thought they were). I feel like the Rangers know I’m watching .


Also to add on: Rangers have had an okay start based on record I guess. That said, I’m very concerned that Panarin and Mika have been complete ghosts so far. They are having zero positive impact for the Rangers. Without them, the Rangers are just Shesty standing on his head all game.

A John Doe, now identified as Kyle Beach, filed sexual assault claims against the Blackhawks video coach earlier this year. It happened during the '10 Playoff run. He alerted people within the organization at the time.

An independent investigation revealed that the organization didn't want negative publicity during the playoffs, so nothing was done until that summer. Basically they let the coach go w/severance package and he went on to coach college (maybe?).

Now people within the organization have resigned, following the investigations. Including GM Stan Bowman.
