I have two of their minor league teams around me.. They have more talent then the guys who make the big money..

no offense, but I'm 35 with an 81 mph fastball (but lefthanded), so I could probably be a middle reliever for them.

poor poor Rays.... worst franchise since the Clippers 80's and 90's run?

There are talks about building a new $450 million stadium to open as early as 2012.

my buddy brendan harris is on the rays. from my hometown. he'll be a 20 20 guy soon enough, lock him up with a 4-5 year deal please?

Rays have slowly gotten better. They have a bunch of young talent. Look for them to have a breakout year this year.

"look for them to do well this year" has been said the last 4-5 years. they need a whole new front office, just like the marlins do. the rays have gone from buy for now, to stick with young kids, to buy for now, back to sticking to the young kids. new gm, and giving up ownership to another buyer would do alot of good for that plummeting franchise.

The Rays just switched owners and gm 2 years ago. The Rays have possibly the best farm system in baseball. They are a young ball club with numerous potential all stars. Their main problem lately is pitching. They need some bullpen help mostly.

I may make it before you jake, I'm 43 with and 85 fastball(for real)...but you can never have too many lefties in your bullpen...

You can take the long relief, I call closer...

You will be surprised my friend. The Rays are a much diff team. They will finish 2nd or 3rd.
