So you were too busy trying to get into her panties than solve the crime.

    This is understandable.

    You weren't the only one.

Yea they don't outwardly say "THIS PERSON DID IT!" but it's definitely clear who did.

This is what I was expecting. I was waiting to be spoon fed the answer.

Just finished "I am a Killer". 10 part series with a different story each time of someone convicted of capital murder.

I thought it was good, definitely worth a watch. You get to hear the story from multiple points of a view. Pretty crazy how similar most of their childhoods were. First guy is absolutely crazy and it's really chilling. Some of the others kind of seem somewhat normal at first, until you hear the full story.

Watched the first ep of American Vandal S2 last night. I can already tell its not going to be anywhere near as good as S1.

Dylan was such a good character that I knew there would be a step back in S2 without him, but hopefully it can still provide some laughs/entertainment. Will likely start in the next few days unless it gets terrible reviews.

Youll see when you watch it.. but they set wayyyyy too much of the story up in the first episode. Ive yet to watch beyond that, but it kind of feels like its going to have some forced episodes, unlike how well the story flowed in the first season.

Good scores on RT so far for S2 are giving me some hope, but yea, I expected this to be worse. I loved S1 though.

I’m most of the way through and had the exact same thought about the similarities between the killers and their backgrounds.

The last few cases haven’t been as interesting as the first and there really are no bombshells. All the criminals except many one are clearly guilty.

It’s interesting to hear things directly from them.

Thought the 1st one was the most unique. They should have saved it for later in the season, IMO.

I didn't get the feeling anyone was innocent, although a few I didn't think ever deserved the death penalty.

The few that took almost no responsibility were the worst.

Not sure if you have gotten any further, but I was confused after ep. 1 and then quickly found out what they were going for in ep. 2 and beyond. They are going for a popular topic in the type of shows they are spoofing.

I don't think it will be as good as season 1, but I was pleasantly surprised.

First ep was a little gross, I could do without showing as much as they did. Definitely a lot less (shit) in the following couple of episodes.

I was just about to go to this thread. I got through another 2 episodes and definitely see where they are going now. I am enjoying it more now.

Youre right it wont be as good as S1, some things feel a little forced but its getting much better for sure.

I do kind of hope they dont try stretching this beyond S2 though.

Finished American Vandal S2 over the weekend. Thought it was good, not great. Some really funny stuff early in the season ep 2-5ish were really good and then it dropped off a little. Compared to S1 I thought it was slightly disappointing, but still a very entertaining and funny show overall.

Thought DeMarcus and Kevin were really good characters, but nowhere near as good as Dylan Maxwell. The grade school kid that became friends with Kevin was underutilized, he was hysterical when he was on camera.

Going to start Maniac early this week - any feedback so far?

Watched the first episode and it was weird as shit. I'm intrigued at where it's going but it's going to have to start making some damn sense in order to keep my interest. Basically have no idea wtf is going on

4 or 5 episodes into Maniac. I have been somewhat distracted, like scrolling on the phone, but that's because it's boring. Now I have no clue wtf is going on

Maniac was pretty good. Confusing with some stuff but it was very gripping.

Came to post about Joe Rogan's new standup special, Stange Times. Had me in tears multiple times last night, easily the best hour Ive seen from him.

Strange Times was good - I didn't think it was his best, but I enjoyed it.

A lot of the subject material and thoughts he has is familiar territory if you listen to his podcast regularly.

I just like that he pushes boundaries. It was similar in theme to his podcasts, yes.

The cat and dog stuff just had me dying though. Im normally not overwhelmed with his stand up, but that one got me cracking up in a number of moments.

I thought his cats and dogs bit was far and away the strongest part of the show. That was also the part that got my girlfriend laughing the hardest.
