Turning Point and Jester King both have brew-pub licenses. Most Texas breweries don’t have one though (and thus could not even sell six packs to go let alone crowlers and growlers).

I realize I am late to the game, but was hopeful King Sue would hit San Diego (it was unlikely, but I did see Pseudo Sue when I first moved out here). That said, I don't have any mid western friends and was wondering if what's in distro is still relatively fresh. Would love to set up a trade for some Pure Project / SD hops for some TG if anyone is interested. thinking 8 cans (medium flat rate box).

Anyone in the 8-bit glassware group on fb?

Finally scored one of those today, the X-men glass. Also have an Answer Knuckles glass heading my way currently, pretty excited about that.

The glassware secondary market is fucking crazy.

As in the brewery? Have a buddy who knows some of their staff, could prob hook it up. I'm not a video game fan, so their creative doesn't appeal to me much.

And agree, the glassware secondary is stupid crazy. I like and appreciate glassware, but I'm not dropping above what the brewery charges for a picture on a glass. I've got my styles covered (tulips, tekus, willies, etc.), which is all that matters to me.

I don’t think it has anything to do with the brewery, just a Facebook group. He’s done avengers, game of thrones and a bunch of others.

And yeah I will never pay secondary pricing. I buy the stuff I can at face value and will keep or flip them for something I want more. It’s insane some people will drop $350+ on a freaking beer glass because it has megaman on it.

Been fortunate to score all my glassware at cost from the artists/companies that produce them. When I flip them, I flip at cost and usually to locals looking for them. Just recently unloaded a megawoman answer glass. Was just too large, and I always felt weird drinking out of it. I have some Permanent Hangover and Answer rastal tumblers that are my go-tos. Just ordered a PH Father’s Day willi that will probably be my summer glass. Apparently it sold out rather quick. Some guys on the Buffalo page already complaining what they’ll need to pay to get it.

Actually a DD glass up on Black Ninja right now but by the time anyone sees this it’ll probably be gone. He does all the answer glassware.

Fun stuff if you’re into it.

The Elmo glass is definitely my favorite because not many people have it. My daughter also has Elmo toys all over the house so it goes nicely with the decor.

Bought a $10 square in a local raz group for last nights NBA final. 100 square pool, a prize at the end of each quarter. 1st qtr was TG 2018 Mornin Delight w matching glassware, 2nd qtr was a 2019 Dark Lord variant with a 3F teku, 3rd qtr was a Bottle Logic/Mikkeller Beer Geek Observation with a Bottle Logic glass, and 4th qtr was 2018 TG Kentucky Brunch breakfast stout.

Had low expectations as it was like 1% chance I’d win with only buying 1 $10 square, but I took what was the best runner up to KBBS. Won the Mornin Delight with the 1st qtr score.

Solid weekend overall. Big release here next weekend as Froth releases their first two cans. Labels look sick:

I dont partake in many. The ultimate prize was too good to pass up a chance on though.

Was actually wearing my pittsburgh pirates dmb shirt/jersey from 2010 though yesterday. Perhaps its my lucky charm.

Figured I would jump into this thread. I recently moved from Miami, FL to a small beach town in Eastern North Carolina. It will definitely be a bittersweet change as far as the beer scene goes. In my 8 years in Miami I saw the craft beer/ microbrew scene grow from essentially nothing to a pretty impressive craft beer scene. I will sorely miss J. Wakefield.

North Carolina obviously has its own goodness to offer. I found a great bottle shop/ taproom on Atlantic beach called AB Bottle Co with some good (mostly NC) offerings. Anyone have any Eastern NC must try breweries or just NC beer in general that I need to keep an eye out for. I like most styles but am a sucker for the hops.

    Targets have been PM'ed out.

I know Kevin posted the rules a few years back, but here is a basic rundown.

-Once you receive the MBB you have up to two weeks to mail it to your target. Obviously the sooner the better.
-DON'T FORGET THE SWAG. If this is your first MBB throw in swag such as stickers, glassware (try not to do pint glasses), bottle opener, koozies, all of the above! Try to be a one upper!
-As soon you receive it, post the MBB to the group.

Let me know if I forgot any of the commandments...I will have the first box shipped out within the next week.

My favorite can art from last year saw a reprise last week: https://i.imgur.com/bmmCGzP.jpg

Shubrew came out with their UUDDLRLRBASTART (the Konami Code) cans again this year. A really tasty NEIPA with a subtle hint of vanilla.
