i was so bored by the movie, and even the book. Yeah that was a corny part but the show is outstanding

That scene where he was tripping on acid or whatever could have been shortened significantly.

Friday Night Lights is an awesome show that's superior to the movie, which is also pretty dad-gum good.

I don’t get how “dad-gum-it” is goofy. Or, at least goofy in a way that would detract from anything. You ever hear Roy Williams talk?

It's kinda Ted Lasso-y for a Texas HS football coach. But they were on network TV, so I'm not sure if they were allowed to say "God damnit" back then.

I remember watching the premier of FNL and rolling my eyes and turning it off. Heard it got good eventually, though. Book and film were both phenomenal.

Funny, I would basically take the full Quaalude scene and nothing else.

Just take every scene where they are getting fucked up, cut in half, and you’ll save an hour.

the length of the quaalude scene is kinda what makes it so good. We watch every agonizing detail. That's on purpose. Not really comparable but it's like Peter hurting his leg on Family Guy and sitting on the sidewalk going "ooooooo ahhhhhh" for like 30 full seconds. It's so well done lol

Really enjoyed it. A solid western with good performances from Tim Blake Nelson and Stephen Dorff.

Saw Jurassic last night......so bad but I don't regret seeing it at all.

Just can't believe they brought everyone back and that is what they came up with.

Unreal how stupid most of it was. Malta scene was by far the best. I can't believe the movie was basically marketed as Dinos finally in the real world and in reality most of the movie is just in another park.

Sure, but that's also why the movie is excessively long.

I've saw it just the once in theaters and thought, well, that certainly was a movie.

Far too long and everyone is super unlikeable.

    Same same.

If I wanted to watch a corporate greed movie, I'd rather watch The Big Short, Margin Call, or Wall Street (1987).

Watched Licorice Pizza on my flight this morning out of Harford but the plane landed with 10 mins left in the movie. Is there any reason for me to find it streaming somewhere just for the last 10 mins or did i pretty much see everything worthwhile?

Halfway through the new Beavis & Butthead movie, and it’s been surprisingly enjoyable.

Stopped it to catch the earliest screening of Elvis. Ready for Tom Hanks to torch some goodwill.

I saw this last night and agree completely. It wasn't even about dinosaurs, it seemed they just happened to be there. I was just hoping for it to end. There were so many stupid scenes, I almost began to wonder if it was satire. The whole plane thing, crash, and frozen lake was beyond dumb. They looked like they walked out of a Starbucks not just crashed a plane. It's hilarious someone is proud they wrote that. They should have just put it on the sci-fi channel.

I just saw that a new B&B came out. Do America is a classic. I'll definitely check this one out. I didn't watch the reboot of the show; not sure how that turned out.

One scene did not make it three hours. Also that scene doesn't fully work without the length in my opinion, as smoke said.

Malta was really fucking cool, but the idea of it was so convoluted, how Pratt and Howard were "allowed" to participate, terrible writing

I would watch a whole JP movie, without any of the current cast, exploring things like Malta and what happens to our current world when Dinos are a part of it
