We are driving 8.5 hours to Kentucky on Wednesday in a car with our friends, to meet our other friends who are driving from South Carolina and meeting us half way. Then coming back Sunday.

Our friends booked a shitty ass looking cabin and I don't really want to go.

Just me venting about having to go on this lame ass trip.

Steve, my wife and I are getting a new(er) car. We looked at a 2019 Tahoe and loved it, minus the fact it doesn't have 360 camera like the current vehicle we have.

My FiL suggested a minivan. 2021 Pacifica/Sienna/Odyssey. Not going to lie, they look pretty sick on the inside, fully loaded, hit every check box except the fact it's a FUCKING MINIVAN.

Now I am willing to swallow my pride and get one, but as the ship's Minivan expert what do you think? Any advice?


edit: My wife's only must have is a 360 camera hence why we didn't pull the trigger on the Tahoe.

I just got a Traverse to replace my minivan (Sienna) and I love it. It's got the third row, so there's room to seat 8. Would definitely recommend.

edit: No 360 camera on mine, only the rear camera, but maybe there's an option for one. I dunno.

I'm not sure I shared it, because who shares they got a minivan, but we got a minivan in 2018 and love it. It's a 2014 Sienna and it has completely changed the game with two kids. Trips are a breeze now. It's my wife's daily driver.
