I really enjoy the guitar part on angel and what Roi brought to the live versions. Lyrically, it could use some uh...... Tweaks.

Angel is my least fav dmb song. Worst lyrics ever.

I prefer old dirt hill over why I am. I think that's unpopular. Could be a vs thread. Where's antiyouk or whoever when u need him? The guy that did all the vs threads.

I prefer many UTTAD songs on the album over the live versions. The only songs that I like better live are Ants, Dancing Nancies and Warehouse,

But to be fair, I've never heard #34 live, so my guess is if I heard Roi play it live I would enjoy it more than the album.

Depending on the version I would tend to agree. The intro can get dragged out far too long sometimes. I'm a big fan of the D&T versions. If they threw it in the acoustic set and played it at 7-11 minutes that would be pretty terrific.

For me personally, once you start getting past 15:00 and into the 15-20 minute mark most songs start to drag, be it Seek Up, Dreaming Tree, LIOG, Jimi, 41, or Two Step. Drag may be the wrong word because obviously a song like Two Step doesn't lose it energy or slow down the show really but the outros can get pretty damn long/repetitive. With guests like Bela and the Flecktones it's a little different and I'm more willing to hear the longer songs because of how many different people are soloing and improving.

I agree. Even some of the 12 minute songs can go too long for me. DMB doesn't do the Phish thing where they make the extended jams worth it anymore. Two Step is about the only jam I can enjoy for 15-20 minutes.

Totally agree. They seem to have really started dragging out intros and outros in the past 5-10 years for certain songs.

Seek Up is one of the very few songs where the longer it is, the better it is. As a matte of fact, it may be the only one. There are many songs that are opposite of that, such as Jimi Thing, Two Step, 41, and all the newer songs they stretch out like Lying In the Hands of God. However, to me, Seek Up is a great long jam. Proudest Monkey too.

I think the intro to Seek Up is fine, but it's the outro that drags. That's true for most of the long songs though. It seems like they do the big climax and then bring it down and just chill on it for 5 more minutes

I think this tour has been pretty good. The setlists have looked pretty good aside for a few bad apples. Granted, it's not amazing on paper but a lot of good songs are being played and my two shows were fantastic. Sure, the LL suck but take the bad for what it is and beat some traffic out.
