Trying to remember a recording

Mods- Hoping this is in the right spot. Apologies if not, and feel free to move if warranted.

I used to have a massive collection of b&p’s with some super cool gems in there. I’m talking crates full. I now regret it but about 10 years ago I gave them all away to a fan who was just getting into it.

Anyway, 2 particular recordings have been entering my thoughts lately and I’d like to track them down. The problem is, I can’t remember a set list or what years they were from. The only things I remember for certain (at least I think) is that the first one was a short set of songs performed on the radio. Maybe 5-7 songs. I want to say that the last two or 3 songs were just Dave and Roi. Or they were the first couple before other members got there. I don’t think carter or Boyd performed. It was just a few members of the band I think- I definitely remember just Dave and roi on at least a song. Roi played a beautiful sax solo. Very early 90’s I believe.

The second was Dave and Boyd performing a set of songs together at what I believe was a movie store. Very early 90’s I believe.

I know there is a lot of rambling in this thread but I’d so much like to revisit these recordings so I thought I would share my thoughts in hopes to track them down.

Thank you

Man this is close but I don’t think it’s quite it. I think it was a little longer of a set. No clue if this is Mandela effect, but I think I remember Roi playing somewhere over the rainbow toward the end. Has that ever happened? Maybe auld Lang syne?

Thanks for helping my poor memory.

For the first one. 5/5/92? http://dmbalmanac.com/TourShowSet.as...=57&where=1992

For the second one..the only Dave and Boyd show that I know of was 3/10/94 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xzm_Qj7mKM8 unfortunately there isn't a recording of the songs just this snippet that was posted to youtube a few years ago.

    Wondering if it was 12/28/93? - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DMs5MGzZFvw

I feel like the first one sounds like it could be live at Yoshis? If it was a radio show, check 1995 on the almanac.

As for the Dave/Boyd show, maybe 4/14/1995? Took place in a Blockbuster store. Or maybe 12/15/1994 since that one has a tape. Was Dave, Boyd and Stefan at a Tower Records

Scratch the Yoshis. I mean, maybe it is but you’re most likely looking for 10/27/1994. Dave, Stefan, and Roi on a radio gig

Dead ass 4/14/95. That is the Dave and Boyd show I had. Thank you! Now to find a torrent. Thank you so much. I remember it saying live from blockbuster on the disc. It’s such a good chunk of music.

hey, if you're in the request-granting mood....any chance you could throw 7/11/97 on the hub? Hidalgo's solo during LIOG might be my favorite guest spot other than bela on last stop LT1.

I'm not a taper, but am friends with a number of them and we are big time supporters of their community. If you want to support them, if you see one at a show, chat them up and let them know how much you appreciate. Buy them a beer, a dog, whatever.
