I don't mean to hijack the question since it wasn't directly asked to me, but in my opinion they really seem to put a good mix of genres on their albums. You go from listening to a pop punk song to a mellow well written acoustic song then to a heavy jam like their old stuff, but over the years I would say they have gone more pop punk than anything.

Their new album has a great mix of songs from acoustic (I'm Already Gone) to punk (Right Back At it Again) and they still bring it on their heavier jams (Life Lessons Learned the Hard Way) great album all around.

Couldn't have said it better. Punk-Metalcore would be my best description.

As far as classic punk, I love the Ramones. I was fortunate enough to see them once prior to Joey's passing. They played about 20 songs in a 45 minute set and it was awesome.

That said, my favorite punk band of all time is still Dead Kennedys. I also listen to Bad Religion regularly (was thrilled to see them again opening for PJ at the Spectrum in 2009) and some hardcore bands, namely Ignite and Sick of it All. Bad Religion's All Ages is one of the best career retrospectives of any band ever.
These 2, along with Rancid, Sex Pistols, and the Misfits. I was more a metal fan, and never went too far into the punk realm

Song has really grown on me, it's so damn catchy, music video is hilarious as well. Hard to pick a favorite off that album, they are all a good listen.

Hell Yes! One of the best.

I had my coming of age in music listening to Bad Brains, Dead Kennedys, Black Flag, Misfits, Minutemen, and SS Decontrol around 10 years after thier hayday. At the time the Nor-Cal Hardcore scene was incredible and we had free-$5 shows at least once a week with 5+ bands on every bill. Good Riddance, Fury 66, early pre-emo AFI. I still pull out my old punk records and spin them from time to time. Great times!

Hell yeah dude they throw down!! Love warped, scene kids are inevitable but a ton of good bands are there. Wished I would've of gone, the lineup looked sick this year. Moshing is fun up until the hardcore dancers take over the pit I don't care how old I get, that music scene pretty much hits home for me growing up. Still listen to a lot of the same stuff as well.

Honestly it ranks up there with one of the most fun concert experiences of my life.

I got to see/listen to Four Year Strong, Less Than Jake, Breathe Carolina, Anberlin, Mayday Parade, We The Kings, Yellowcard, Of Mice & Men, and Issues.

As long as the line up holds up next year, i will be returning to Warped Tour. What a great time.

I need a Four Year Strong tour. They have been on repeat in my car since june, their style is the perfect mixture of just about everything for me. Can't get enough of them.

Wish came true. FYS coming to Skully's in Columbus, VIP ticket for 45 bucks was a steal and a half. Can't get enough of these guys. Love their new EP "Go Down In History".

Listen to it, then go buy it.

Warped is hit or miss. You get a good lineup every other year. Last year sucked year before was great this year was good. So I expect next year to be weak. I've been going to warped since 2005, seeing someone like Katy Perry in 2008 at warped on a side stage and crowd surfing or Paramore from the back of a truck in the parking lot is what makes warped special

    So confused...

Saw A Day To Remember on Monday in Nashville. Holy shit what a great time. Crowd surfed for the first time, and had an absolute blast. Loved it.

Four Year Strong up next in November

    New Yellowcard album dropped yesterday.

Was it the parks and devastation tour for adtr? Really hate I missed that. Their stage production looked insane.

Indeed it was. Stage set up was sooooo cool. The Mt. Rushmore stage design with all the guys faces on it was incredibly dope. Their faces changed, confetti cannons, toilet paper, hamster ball, & of course the set was great.

One of, if not the best headlining act i've ever seen.

Chiodos and Bring Me The Horizon were both pretty bad.

Was telling my buddy on the way out of the show, an ADTR/Four Year Strong tour would have fucking owned. Give ADTR the full set they played and be the headliner and then have FYS play basically a 14 song set. Won't happen because they are on different labels, but still would be crazy awesome.

ADTR, FYS, & Yellowcard are my favorite acts in the "punk" world right now.

TL;DR it was a fucking great time.

Edit: I know it's metalcore, but i really really want to see Of Mice & Men in concert. Listened to them at Warped but had no clue who they were til i discovered them a few weeks later.

See i love Chiodos (with Craig Owens) I didn't go to that tour because they were the openers, but every time I saw them live they absolutely kill it.

My favorite acts right now. Bayside moved in to my #1 spot, pushing Taking Back Sunday to #2. The Bayside show (my 11th one) i saw last week was easily their best show/set yet. I love Yellowcard also going to see them in a few weeks, new album is a little bland. And I still love anything Andrew McMahon does.
