The allegations seem credible and his denials don’t seem convincing. This is worse than re-allocating nursing home deaths to hospitals to avoid DOJ political probes (which was also bad, but not “resign now” bad as it seemed at first glance).

It’s not even a position of power issue - it’s a professionalism issue. You don’t joke about sexual stuff - especially personal sexual stuff - with coworkers in your place of work.

I dont think thats fair. We had 2 NY tough guys in April...one was denying what was right in front of our faces, the other was telling us exactly what was happening and what we had to do to get through it. The nursing home scandal doesn't change anything he said, it just makes him look bad now.

And here's the difference before this gets the both sides treatment. Are there any Dems in this thread defending him? No. Now look at Trump...if ya told Trump supporters he'd fudge numbers on COVID (oh wait, "I don't want the cruise ship to dock because that will make my numbers look worse), or that he'd have 2 sexual allegations, would it change any Trump voter's mind?

I’d say it’s a fine line and a difference between talking socially with someone who is a friend that happens to be a coworker, versus talking while in the act of performing your job - especially if that coworker doesn’t consider you a social friend outside of work.

Sexual talk was just the way of life in the restaurants where I worked (like every other restaurant), but I've never, not once in four years, discussed anything even remotely sexual around the office at my current job. Not with anyone. In fact, it's remarkable how mature I am the moment I step foot in the office at work compared to the rest of my waking hours.

Restaurants are just their own thing...way more lax in what's "appropriate" but as long as it doesn't turn into sexual harassment/assault I think most people know they're getting into a more casual work environment or are ok with it.

One of the weirdest things to me, in or outside of a work environment, is people just shoving porn on their phones into your face and being like "look at this!" like they know you're ok with it. Like it doesn't offend me personally, but holy shit some people don't even have a basic understanding of where the line is.

The Cuomo “replacing Biden” last year was bullshit. Cuomo became a household name because he wasn’t taking shit from Trump. He would talk back and have that NY tough guy attitude. I think people were scared that Biden couldn’t beat Trump so they liked this tough guy who was taking shit during these press conferences.
