They might have meant it the other way around. With people buying the new album they might not be interested in getting a new LT. (Yes, dumb. I know)

There's the possibility it isn't related to anything financial, but instead related to manpower.

It could be that the team is so busy with new album promotion and getting things ready for the tour that they feel they don't have enough time to also sell a LiveTrax.

I'm sure one of the next coming LT will be a 2023 show, a la LT 46. Hopefully another blu-ray release too!

I'm really excited about the album release show, I'm making the trip to the Texas shows so I'm hopeful there will be some cool moments. I'm not expecting any Dreaming Trees, but my goal is to complete WATM this summer so I bet I'll be satisfied. But yeah since Sirius will air 5.19, I'd think that one is less likely for consideration.

I hope they can be released someday. My first show was 8-20-98 in Atlanta with Herbie. At the time I had no idea how lucky I was to see that show. Enjoyed the heck out of it though indeed.

This happened with Come Tomorrow too. I agree, it’s not logical, but management clearly thinks the fans can’t handle 2 releases in the same quarter. Not even a major studio LP and an exclusive archive live release. Pretty weird thinking on their part… I can’t imagine a scenario where one cannibalizes the sales of the other.

Now that DMB will lose to the #1 spot to The Little Mermaid, can management think rationally about releasing LTs we're begging for in years DMB announces a studio album? It doesn't set right we're getting something after May. I still don't think a LT would even hurt album sales.
