Me too. My wife loves the Avetts but has a severe disdain for DMB. I want to sell this to her, but have no plan to actually do so lol.

9:00-11:00 = short 14-16 song set. 2021 Pilgrimage setlist scares me, especially paying $140 w/ fees. Hopefully they'll have guests sit in with them. Marcus Mumford would be cool. But the other bands playing that day may not be able to take the sting out of a $140 Can't Stop. But biting the bullet as it'll be their only visit to Tampa in 2023.

I went to Tampa Innings last year and it was phenomenal. I have never been to a festival where they allowed re-entry! So during a band we didn't care about, we'd pop down to 7-11 for some air conditioning, hot dogs, and tall boys. Security was also very lax.

Easy in and easy out. Very well organized in every facet. Good food, drink, and stage set up. We're doing both nights, and it will be strange going from Grouplove, to Pitbull, to Weezer, to Imagine Dragons but I'm here for it.

What makes you think this will be the only Tampa stop of 2023? The summer tour hasn't been announced, but I'd like to hope that's enough time in between shows for them to come back around.

I live in Tampa, with family in Phoenix, so going to be deja Vu to see DMB at innings. Sunday lineup is pretty solid.

I won't be surprised if it's the only Tampa show of the year, especially if the FL shows are 2 months later in May again. Tampa was going to get skipped in the original 2020 tour plan, then added for 2021. We'll see when tour dates roll out.

Last year the stages were in the parking/tailgating lots.

Hoping last nights setlist isn't a prelude for this. A bands energy can't save everything.

Honestly for a festival I wouldn't be to upset with the same set. It will definitely be laced with hits most people.woupd know.

We'll get a festival set I'm sure, fully expecting it. But can they please can some of those songs i.e. Sledgehammer? I'm hoping with all the decent Sunday acts he may pull a guest on stage e.g. Mumford. Take the sting out of it a bit.

I have an opportunity to make this happen solo.

Any thoughts on regular GA vs GA +? With PLUS get an area to sit between acts, but not a viewing area unless You splurge for VIP which is too rich for my blood.

IS Raymond James a Walkable area to get an Airbnb or better off in a different area of Tampa?

Things to do in the area? I’d like to catch a spring training game or hit a beach before the music and stick around Monday

    TIA

Was hoping to see Third Eye Blind again, but apparently there's no re-entry after 7pm, and I'm not waiting 3+ hours for DMB to come on. So I guess it's just DMB then.

Hoping for a decent festival set...

I went to the Tempe Innings fest a couple weeks ago and they also said 7pm, but then extended it to 9pm. Maybe check in the afternoon first

Not sure if there is a map out or if it's going to be the same as last year, but VIP section is in the middle between both stages and there are bleachers pointed at each stage. In VIP, water (Liquid Death in cans, still and seltzer) was free and they never cared how many you grabbed. When we'd go up for drinks, whether or not we needed water we'd get one, and drink made sure to drink it, as it was a little toasty out. There was limited shade, only from the few trees and the backside of the bleachers, so bring a hat, concierge provided sun screen. We were in line to get into the venue for as soon as it opened for both days, and we were able to grab the comfy (moveable) chairs. Being able to move them was great for seeing both stages, though the tarp liner on the fence separating VIP from Platinum was as tall as the 6 foot fence, so couldn't see the left stage when seated.
There were two food vendors inside VIP, and hardly ever a long wait, but the options are limited and better food was found in the GA area, which was a bit of a walk back and forth. Everything was cashless and cardless, you'd pay with your wrist band, so it was kind of annoying seeing 200 Paypal transactions come Monday morning. Having dedicated bathrooms alone was worth VIP. There was never, ever a line, and they were super clean. The staff was always around to monitor them and constantly cleaning and disposing of trash, during day 2 we heard of horror stories about the bathrooms overflowing in GA. They did run out of some drink items if I recall correctly early in the second day, IPAs ran out for sure. Near the end of night 2 from my experience they were just giving away booze and mixed drinks were 99% alcohol.
My experience above. I personally wouldn't do anything but VIP or Platinum.

Thanks for the overview. I always try and just wait til closer to any festival and vip for cheaper. Did that on stubhub last week. Person missed the ship date now I’m in ticket guarantee purgatory where they try and find replacement or refund. Restrooms and place to hang in shade are worth it alone.

Yes. They are all color coded and also marked with their levels (single days will have different colors for each day, and weekend bands will be one color (with their respective colors and marking for each tier).

Not going to lie I'm pumped. Through bad luck I have not seen full bad since 2019. I had the pleasure of having tickets to Gorge 2021 "AF" no Carter, no Stefan. Then I had tickets to WPB 2022, Dave got Covid and I could not attend the rescheduled dates. So gimmie the festival set list, I don't care. Just give me full bad!!! Can't wait. See y'all there.
