Still looking forward to hearing the studio MME for the first time.

Waiting until midnight or maybe tomorrow morning...I just want the whole damned album to drop.

How do I update my Ants profile to accurately display all the shows I’ve seen? Shows I attended through the Warehouse are there but my TM/LN buys need to be manually added. Thanks.

Find the shows you attended through Tour Central. Then on the bottom right of the show page there is a large "I was there" icon.

Yes, you would need to go to each show on Tour Central and click the "I Was There" button. I don't think there's any way to import or connect Ants to your TM/LN account or history if that is what you are asking.

I had totally forgotten that the Nancies and Song That Jane Likes on the reissue were the same tracks we've had for decades.

anyone think Dave will be making an appearance at Willie Nelson's 90th birthday party in April? All the other farm aid board will be there. Dave not on the list yet.

Prediction: Looking For a Vein segueing into Rhyme & Reason is going to be a thing this summer. This heroin tag team will be as common as Nancies>Warehouse.

prediction: looking for a vein is nowhere near as dark as we think it will be and will disappointingly be about something to do with the state of the world that dave uses a generic heroin metaphor for.

The mind boggles at how much TGIY gets under some folks skin so deeply around here.

It's a harmless fun song. It couldn't be more clear that it was either:
    - intentionally sung to sound like somehow that's very likely partaken being taken with what they see as a very lovely woman
    - or they just had fun in the studio and really liked the outcome

It's got a great simple hook and I don't think it would sound as good with whatever notion folks of have a clean or "good" vocal take. It's raw, even visceral, joy.

BUT, to each their own. Buncha crazy fools here think Bayou is good & fun, and that SU is better than CT. Twisted sickos...

Dave's a huge fan of the Discovery Channel's reality television show, Gold Rush, and this song is about modern day gold miners.

I might've said this before, but it bears repeating, the Darien 6/14/06 show is very underrated. Great performance of Everyday (might be the only time I say that"

    2) If you have applemusic or youtube unlimited or something, what is the benefit of buying these albums?

my biggest gripe with TGIY is that the jam is the most fun part of the song (and honestly one of the most fun sections of music they've created in their career) and its like 30 seconds long unless PHJB is guesting. there is no reason why they can't stretch that out every time its played.

Typically, Live Trax are the cream of the crop when it comes to live recordings. They are multi-tracked and are well mastered, using good sources.

DmbLive are most often not multi-tracked, usually coming from the board output after mixing at the venue. They are the sub-par quality recordings that often don't sound as good.

Both offer some great shows, but the quality of Live Trax are always better.

I went to 0 shows between 01 or 02 (not certain) until 2021
    It has gone really well
first show back Riverbend 21 pure excitement, Nationwide Fall '21 amazing show, DC '22 first pit
not so great Dayton '22 my first show I can actually say I didn't like

In that time my age has doubled and the band is majority non-founding members
so I'm still finding my way as a fan of who they are now
    and
it's hard to not dream of the moments in the 90's when they ruled my heart

but even when I'm sad like I was after Dayton there's still room for fans like me and our passion even if it sometimes feels too negative
so for all those posting/complaining I appreciate you a whole lot more than every show is the greatest folks cus you feel a lot more relatable to me

guess I'm done lurking at least for this brief moment

John Mayer's better at social media. But when it comes to touring, you'd be surprised how similarly he performs to DMB with box office data. At his "Search For Everything" tour in 2017, he sold around 55% of the seats at Camden. 41% of the seats at Darien. 50% at Blossom.

I think DMB even did better than that last year. And keep in mind, they did 2 shows at Camden.

Similar couple random lines in The Only Thing and Spaceman... wouldn't hate these back to back at a show sometime.

    Love both of those songs.

    separate thought,

Dave did a good job finalizing the 2004 songs' lyrics. I loved Crazy Easy in 2013, Good Good Time in 2014, and the more recent Sugar Wills.
