DMB Vinyl Releases

Pre-ordered the 180 and WH edition. My good buddy is getting me my first turntable for my bday. My mom recently gave me her Beatles and Stones records and I had bought Remember Two Things and kept it in a tote until now. Seems like as good a time as ever to dive in!

I imagine if we dug deep enough we might find one, but usually I would expect if a retailer-specific release had bonus content it would not be in terms of a different record than the rest but rather "includes bonus 7 inch of xxyyxx" or something like that.

A download card was included, I would say, in most new vinyl releases probably 10 years ago, but they have all stopped now. I can't remember the last vinyl release I got with a download card, but it is super annoying needing to buy the album twice.

You must mean just dmb. Mostly every new release I buy comes with a download.

It’s not Hollywood bowl bad, but it’s not far off.

They probably stopped because the assumption is most people have spotify or apple music. Can't tell you how many un-redeemed DL cards I have that the weblink has long expired.

I get that practically its not needed, but I like to archive media I own for backup reasons. Not having a dl code is a real bummer for me.

I completely get it.


I still buy CDs for that reason. I've seen enough music disappear from streaming sites, or not been able to find specific versions.


The smart move is to download it and save it.


I've just never do it.

The DMB social media ads do say the deluxe vinyl and colored vinyl choices in the DMB shop are exclusive.

The prices on DMB vinyl are all over the place. Someone has a sealed RR95 black on eBay for US$510, while on Discogs you can get one sealed for around US$150.
There's also a sealed, no promo cut listing of BTCS for US$4000 lol

Seriously, it's really random. I helped a buddy of mine get a Too Much / Jimi 7" the other day (I paid $350 for mine), but the seller I hooked him up with sold him a copy for $100. I saw one on Discogs once for that price, too. It can be really random.

Search GreggQ or whatever his name is on ebay. Dude lists posters at prices not even close to what they are worth and people are buying them all the time. Buyer beware, do your research and have a budget in mind. Otherwise, you can ask whatever you want and if you're lucky (like him?) you can make a good buck on something that is worth nothing.

No it's not. I was at that show and left pretty mute. The only treat that night was BEF->Grace is Gone off the get go. Pretty much a dud of a show and I literally cannot believe 12 years down the line it was chosen for release. It wasn't even the best show that week that I attended.

I am considering selling my copy of BTCS - but I don’t want to pay the eBay or Discogs fees, so I came up with trying here.

Both vinyls sound great with only a few places with slight noise (on Spoon for example) I would grade both vinyls VG+

The gatefold cover would also be a VG+ - there is ringwear but nothing terrible. I can spot a barely visible handwritten “98” on the front of the cover. I only noticed it the other day as I was taking pictures of the record.

There should be two black sleeves for the records with lyrics for the songs, but the one for side A/B is missing so there is a replacement black regular sleeve for that record.

My price is 570 USD including shipping from Denmark.
