Design wise I liked last years towel the best and year 3 with the octopus.

I use my bags all the time.

The water bottles, not so much. Might still be in the box lol!

Couple of questions . . . we went once when the location was further south (CID/Barcelo).

    1. Anyone else just not getting Playa Luna emails? I've checked all over gmail (spam, promotions), and I got nada on the dashboard. Finally emailed last week. Glad hubby didn't want to golf/

    2. I didn't think I could have topped Brandi Carlile as an opener, but I can't decide which opening act I like better. Screw dinner reservations. Doing a nice lunch and catching these bands!

I don't have email issues so can't help you there, but for #2. The food inside the "venue" is very very good. Just eat there

I wanted to make sure the food inside venue was still a thing! My husband enjoyed the servers walking around with beers all night, but I didn't need that so much.

The food inside the venue gets better and better each year. Their are a ton of options during the day, and post show buffets, coffee shop (gelato and crepes) and roll service!

    So much better than Barcelo!

    Did you find the emails?

No, and via some FB groups, I have found out that I am not alone. If I email them, I get the response. They've told me three times that they have separately re-emailed the dashboard link, but that's not coming to inbox, spam, promotions, junk, etc. I did get a password reset email in response to my questions, but I have little faith that their email client is going to send me any updates. It's a little frustrating given the cost of this trip that there is no way to call anyone. If email is the only form of communication, you better make sure everyone is getting the event info emails. Oh, well. I am just going to monitor this thread and the FB groups to make sure I don't miss anything (which given the cost of trip, seems crazy to have to do).

There is truly no phone number. I did, just to increase my odds, join the playa luna mailing list AGAIN. Who knows.

How does merch work for these shows? Can you purchase stuff online or do you have to spend time in line during the day? It’s our first time going to this event. Starting to get really excited.

Both. You'll be able to preorder about a week or two before and pick it up as part of the check in process.

There is also a merch tent on site during the weekend

    Probably!

But does Dave typically debut new songs with just Tim? Interesting.

Well that’s a different story. For some reason I was picturing long lines for prints. No chance I’d be doing that.

All the rooms except for a two person, 5 night package at the Grand are now sold out or waitlisted. Went quickly over the last couple of day, so anyone thinking about better move fast.

I think at this point if someone is going to go, they are most likely going buy a discounted packaged from someone who already purchased one. Or at least that's my thoughts.

Last year I made the mistake of day one waiting nearly 2 hrs for a poster. Some people camp out early in the morning to get a foil. But on day 2 and 3 I ran over in the afternoon and bought my poster without a problem. Planning on doing the same this year as ewell.

I just wish you could preorder the posters.

Yeah we frequently walked back and forth between sunrise and nizuc, walking past the tent on the way by. Most of the time there was a sizeable line, so we would keep walking. Then one time it happened to be short so we were able to get it and out

This year the discounted packages are pretty rare. They are being sticklers on the transfers and I think most people bought food insurance after last year.

I mean it’s gonna depend on the poster. The foils, people are camping out for. There were 6 posters last year and 4-5 were easy to get with no line.

Re: **Dave & Tim Mexico 2023**

First timer here going to D&T in Mexico...

Looking for some feedback. We are staying at the Hilton and have to take the shuttle over to the events.

How is the shuttle been in previous years?
