Says a lot about this tour that people are excited about the possibility of a LT release from the current year. There’s been some things to be excited about with this band over the last 10-15 years, but in some way they feel authentic again.

I think the final repair I’d want to their current sound is simply bringing Don’t Drink the Water back down about 10 levels. And by repair I just mean things like bringing back Grey Street 3rd verse, slowing it down, cutting Jimi Thing down, mixing up the sets more. Psyched about ‘22

Aye. Plan that shit out in advance with special guests and a set list that might interest the hardcores even though that kind of release is meant for more casual fans. But CDs aren’t really sold much of anywhere outside of online retailers now so it could favor hardcores. Do that and let’s play ball.

I was listening to Live Trax 48 (Dave & Tim at The Birchmere in '94) the other day - one of my all time favorite releases - and thinking about how much I would love another Dave and Tim show soon. This one on 2/1/97 looks like an awesome setlist, and that was a great tour for them. I'd be so down for another Dave & Tim show from any of the early years up to, and including, 2003.

(In fact, the only 2003 Dave & Tim we have officially released is the DMBLive from Boone, and the Some Devil bonus disc, right? Would love to see a full 2003 D&T show get a proper Live Trax - beautifully mixed and mastered - in the next year or two!

I probably haven’t listened to L@LC in maybe two decades. D&T just doesn’t fill the void like DMB does as a unit. I probably only listened to L@RCHM a few times and I never bought Live In Vegas D&T. I only have the D&T solo LTs purely for completion sake. I only bought one of the DMBLive D&T (Boon) show simply because of the set.

Can't say I listen to any other artist if there's a full band option, outside of the MTV Unplugged series, if I was at a show, and in the E1 spot Dave and Tim come out with acoustic guitars for one song, I guess that would be acceptable.

I listen to Dave solo and D&T exponentially more than DMB and always have, when comparing the three to each other in terms of actually being at a show if they are all at their best I'd probably take DMB

I believe they have a multitrack of this show. Rusted Root was the opener, and I think they used their sound system. That's why some of the songs from the night before at the Lisner Auditorium show were able to be released on Warehouse discs, Rusted Root also opened that night.
