Pro - If you have seniority, might as well put it on the seniority night show

Con - N2 probably sees more priority requests vs N1

Anyone remember the recurring yearly debate about which night was seniority night vs random night for 2 night stands?

Are things still done that way?

I was not aware of this...Apparently many others were not either across the years.

    It's in the FAQ.

    Quote:
The Warehouse Ticketing Department is available via email whtix@davematthewsband.com Mon-Fri and on all show days to assist Warehouse members with all ticketing issues. To ensure a fair experience for all Warehouse members, there is one membership permitted per household. The Warehouse verifies membership data to ensure that all Warehouse members have an equal chance of being confirmed for tickets.

As a benefit of Warehouse membership, members can request a limited quantity of tickets in advance of the public on-sale. The Warehouse cannot guarantee that all members will be confirmed for tickets. The opportunity of being confirmed for Warehouse tickets varies by event depending on member demand. Each event is assigned to a numbered Series (for example Series 1-2022). All confirmed tickets within one Series ship together.

All ticket requests are reviewed for compliance with Warehouse Ticket Guidelines and payment validation. If a credit card declines, the Warehouse ticket request associated is declined. Due to time restrictions of the Warehouse presale, the Warehouse cannot contact the member, nor re-run the credit card.

Ticket requests that are confirmed within the reserved seating areas are entered into a seat assignment process by one of two methods:
    1. Utilizing seniority by membership year to determine the order of seat assignments.
    2. Utilizing randomization of member requests to determine the order of seat assignments.
Warehouse Ticketing utilizes seniority seating on all single-night events. On multiple night events at one venue, night one seat assignments are random, while night two (and night three, if applicable) seats assignments are by seniority.

Back in the 2000's when close to 40,000 people used to go to the shows, absolutely, having premier parking was a definite benefit when it used to take at least 45 minutes to get in and out of Alpine without it. Now I think only about 20,000 people go to the shows, so it's way easier than it used to be. I think we're usually out of the lot in under 20 minutes for sure. Sometimes faster.
What’s your advice for getting out under 20? We have never been able to get out in less than 45-60 mins, 2019 included.

Should I go for premier? Remind me how much day of parking costs?

Park in the far back of the lot and leave before the encore starts...

    But seriously, whats your hurry?

Stay for the encore, head to your car and resume your pre show tailgate untill the traffic settles down.

Either premier or start heading to your car no later than the last note of the last song to beat the rush. When the music stops, think of it like a race basically.

Beyond that, I just know the last 4 or 5 years we went to shows the traffic in the parking lots was noticeably better than in the 2000's. I mean they don't even use the green lot anymore because the number of people going is so much less as far as I know. We get to the shows kind of earlyish, so we're usually in say the 3rd row or so from the front of the yellow lot. So it's not like we get out fast because we're in the back of the lot. Maybe we just get out a little faster because we're familiar with how the traffic usually flows in the lots and know the quicker paths or something. I'm not sure.

Parking is free unless you pay for premier and premier can only be purchased ahead of time, right?

A lot of people do that and that's fine. My wife and I like to get out because we're usually tired by the end of the show and we normally stay near Milwaukee. So we usually have about a 40 minute drive after the show by the time we get on the highway. If it takes 45 minutes to get out of the lot, then that's about an hour and a half sitting in the car after the show.

No hurry at all. We are definitely staying until the end (always have). I just thought I was doing something wrong lol. Not interested in sprinting up the hill and through the parking lot or leaving early.

I feel like I remember shelling out at least $20 when arriving day of, but could have gotten swindled I suppose.

    general parking is free.

premier parking is extra and purchased ahead of time.

early entry is $20 and allows you in before the "lots open".

I generally head to the top of the hill for the encore - and just judge from there. i don't necessarily always have to hear Ants again - but if it's N1, i usually stick around regardless - all depends on the show - I've driven to Columbus from Pittsburgh mid day, gone to the show and driven back same night - so I didn't stick around for the encore there.

This. Start walking up the hill and you're good to go.

Yep, wife and I just booked a hotel in downtown Milwaukee within walking distance of a bar we found, Brat House, that has a party bus that takes you to and from the venue. All drinks included on the bus.

For breweries you have to do the Lakefront Brewery tour, you won’t be disappointed. While in the area Ealge Park Brewery is really good. City Lights, Good City, Third Space, MKE Brewing are all good options as well.

Did you book this online or call them? I saw their site online but can't find a booking link (I can see the event though?) Thank you! I am trying to do the same.

I did this shuttle in 2019. Great group. Booze included seltzers and lite beers. I would say it was worth the price of the ride alone, and the seltzers and lite beers were a bonus. Make sure you bring your own food though...

Has anyone here ever gotten VIP club access? Is it worth it? What does it all include?
