Mystery Live Trax?

Hey folks,

Didn’t see this covered here or in the Live Releases forum, so thought I’d mention: was loading LT58 into my cart in the Warehouse store, and saw that I was shy of something they’re calling a ‘Mystery Live Trax CD’ for purchases $25+.

So I added in the extra to my cart and it looks like they’re throwing in a LT20 CD. Has anyone else gotten the same result, or does actual mileage vary?

This will be my 58th LT purchase, so a copy of a previous LT won’t be enough to get me to buy more, but looks pretty cool if you have a LT20-sized hole in your collection. Pretty cool show, although it’s been a minute since I gave it a listen.

It is their annual holiday sale. Any purchases of $25+ adds a mystery Live Trax to your order.

Likely it's a Live Trax that they have a ton of that they need to get rid of.

the best thing they ever did was in 2010, where they released a different live single each week between thanksgiving and xmas. free song with any X purchase. that 2005 grey st fucking slaps for a 2005 grey st

Likely it's a Live Trax that they have a ton of that they need to get rid of.

Kinda disappointing their liquidating their LT stock like this. With the state CDs are at, they probably won't print anymore. LTs get scratched and lost over time.

didnt they give this one away to warehouse members a few years back? maybe that's why the have extra stock

if you've never heard live trax 20, its damn good. that blue water is life changing

I think they do this every year. You really think they'll stop making LT CD's? I hope not.

I'm guessing it's still profitable to sell new LTs CDs. But I hope the much older ones wouldn't go out of print.

Glad I held off getting LT 58 until now then. I figured they'd do something for Black Friday.

Edit: Wait I already have that CD. Nevermind.

I'm on a hunt for #19. It's been out of print, and it's the only one I don't have.

the original ones came with an actual, classic CD case. All of which I still have. I think all the way up to live track 8.They also included the original LT7 CD (with the case) release with LT7 vinyl. So now i'll have one unopened. Guessing these will be collectibles eventually. .

Seems like LT 20 appears in the cart right away for all when meeting the threshold, so not much of a mystery. Have you seen otherwise?

Apple Music has Live Trax Vol 1 thru 30 and there comes a time when they add 10 more volumes almost yearly

Damn that's cool! LT20 is great! I'd be pissed that I already put in my order for 58 but I have 20. I feel like they gave away 20 for free when it first came out. I think it was for renewing your WH membership in 2011 when they took the year off. If I'm not mistaken.

Just put an order in for some odds and ends... LT that populated for free was Live Trax Sampler CD. I’m unfamiliar with this one?

were the songs the released already on LT volumes or were they previously unreleased? if they were previously unreleased I would like to know what tracks they were

You can download the audio of this show from iTunes. I had a friend in Brazil give me their import release when it came out like 10 years ago. The Die Tryin is one of the best versions along with Wrigley if you ask me.
