Are you going to contact RLM for media passes at the Gorge and try to land Fonzie for your next interview?

Nice interview with Rodrigo! Loved the soundcheck story and hearing about his balance of being a fan while also working for the band.

It’s interesting he puts his own restraints and restrictions on himself when it comes to hanging around them too often. I mean I guess it’s understandable that he’s a little paranoid on “loitering around“ when he’s not taking pictures. But eventho he didn’t say so, I would think maybe he’s gotten word through the grapevine that if he’s hanging around too often without “working”, that they might grow suspicious of him and tell him to go home…

Sweet interview guys. Surprise surprise, my favorite story of Rodrigo's was him being able to hear 5 or 6 back to back YNK's during a soundcheck. Still thinkin' yours shoulda been picked during the live from home requests.

Can't wait to tune in for some tour stoke on the next one! Cheers

    Haha yes that was awesome.

He has so many stories he just can’t divulge. Would be awesome to be in his shoes at times

Like what types of stories (or topics) in just a general sense, couldn’t he divulge? Like ones involving Boyd or what?

Not necessarily. Just like with anyone, we all have moments and stories that are private or at least enough so we wouldn’t want them blasted out there.

Thought we were for sure gonna get picked for that request lol. I just can't even imagine watching them play YNK 6 times in a row in soundcheck. So freakin cool!

So, we need to say thank you to Rodrigo if the band ever played with Carlo Malta, Hamilton de Holanda and Gabriel Grossi. (!!)

Preciate you listening! Ants was from Charlotte 7.24.13, as was the Two Step at the end, we just switched them around from the way they were played that night lol. One of our favorite shows we've been to if you are looking for a good one to listen to.

I guess Nolan right now is too busy for an update. But I imagine he has MANY things to say about what he has defined ‘the best day of his life’.

I've always felt like Dave is bigger than people think. Definitely around 6'2" and has huge hands. I'm 6'4" and I think my son will be taller than all of us lol.

Nolan, Taylor here and I met you right before we all walked into the show and damn man I had no idea you were 6’4! I’m 5’8 and I never picked up that you were that tall! Shit. Maybe we were standing on a hill or something.

Btw, sorry about me and my buddy trying to get on y’all’s bus at the end to get the hell out of there lol. Was on the edges of a hard buzz & being wasted. Got my exercise in that night getting out of that place, that’s for sure ha

Yeah I don’t know how you guys thought Dave was shorter than at least 6 feet. I mean even without never meeting him and only just seeing videos of him, seeing him live, pictures etc. I thought it was pretty obvious that he’s not a short man.

Re: The Corner of Grey Street Podcast

Was good to meet Bruce on Saturday (sorry Nolan, you looked engaged in another conversation) and was great to hear your recaps on ep 44 this morning. I don't know any other hardcores personally, so always look forward to hearing your takes. Shared a lot of your feelings on both shows - the high energy songs in Raleigh including the Thank You sing-a-long (damn, for whatever reason that got me a little emotional in person and every time I've listened to it since) were just what I needed, and the almost cringe-worthy run of BW songs in Charlotte that certainly didn't ruin the show, but made me just wonder 'why?'. I was also getting ready to post something on one of the other threads about the link between the earlier start time and the longer shows/encores, but you guys beat me to it. Looking forward to the next episode already. Cheers!

Hey, it was nice meeting you in Raleigh. I'm sorry I had to say no re: the bus, but Bruce was kind enough to invite me on (was not my bus) and I was not in a position to bring others on...plus, everyone on the bus had paid and although I would not have minded you hopping on, I felt it would have been unfair to the others.

Hope to catch you again somewhere this year.
