I don't have a problem with the event happening or the fact it's indoors. If they want to socially distance the show, require masks, etc. Fine. The Ryman has been doing it successfully for several months. It can be done.
But to throw all caution to the wind now is stupid. We're literally 2-3 months away from normal. Let's not blow this. Not now.

This is my big thing. If we can just HANG ON and be diligent for another couple of months while the vaccine is distributed, we can actually,
safely open back up by the end of the year/next year. But the more we transmit, the more variants we'll cause and this will go on for years more.
I live in one of the worst states for both COVID cases and vaccine distribution. (I'm fully vaccinated, thankfully.) It's been a nightmare, our horrible governor just lifted restrictions again and it's like... we're so close there's a light at the end of the tunnel, can we please just be good citizens for once and we'll make it out.
