I am looking for those two tracks that came with the US iTunes version of DMB Europe 07 (Dave & Tim)

    The Stone 3-2-07
    Ants Marching 3-14-07

Unfortunately those two tracks are unavailable outside of the US.
    Can anybody help me?

    Thanks in advance!!

Haven’t been on Ants in a hot minute, but I consistently have kept DMB radio on XM on in my car for the last few months. It has improved substantially, but they keep playing “Loving Wings” from the show on the date of Roi’s death. Certainly the best performance of that song, and maybe even a top 10 live recording for me. The energy is powerful. Bartender from that show too is phenomenal.

For us (my wife and I) Some Devil is as good an album as Dave Matthews has ever been involved. We've never gotten caught up in the notion of the big three, but barring Everyday, everything from RTT through Some Devil was masterful, special, and pretty unique. SU is the aberration, as we've enjoyed the work since a lot as well. So two eras with a big change in sound...

I think it's cool that 30 years later, Dave, Carter, Tim and Stefan still play together with great musicians...That's what keeps me around and excited for new music. I think we all know their best days are long behind them, but it's exciting to see them still going strong.

Sorry that anyone feels this way. Things are just different and still evolving.

The worst thing any artist can ever do is stay the same...if they did that perception of greatness of any given era wouldn’t exist. They’d seem stale and kinda pathetic if they kept churning out the same stuff.

If Dave's songwriting stayed at the same level of the big three I don't think that would be stale or pathetic

6/15/13 True Reflections is bad ass. Boyd with the violin twirl after his solo was pretty sweet.

Almost certain they do. But I'm not a musician. For the wide diversity of guests they've had, probably most would not have gone on stage with the band without having gotten paid for it.

Looks like the below according to this link: https://dmb.fandom.com/wiki/Crash

"True Reflections" – later re-recorded for Boyd Tinsley's solo album of the same name
"#36" – later evolved into the song "Everyday" from the band's album of the same name
    "Get in Line"
"Don't Burn The Pig" - Later reworked into Pig from the band's album Before These Crowded Streets
"Deed Is Done" – a live acoustic version from 1996 was later released on the album Live at Luther College
"Little Thing" - was later released on Live at Luther College and was re-worked for Dave Matthews's solo album Some Devil as "An' Another Thing"

Someone on this forum said Come Tomorrow (album) lacks depth.

Listening to Tears for Fears this morning and I’m reminded of what a great album is. It reminds me of BTCS. You can listen to a song 5 times in a row and hear different things each time. Sad to say that the majority of DMb albums don’t have depth. BTCS is the exception - especially Dreaming Tree.

Anyone know any artists today releasing albums that share the love and dedication that BTCS, Seeds of Love (Tears for fears), Pink Floyd etc got?

If you're into heavier stuff The Dear Hunter and Between the Buried and Me are two of my favorites. The Dear Hunter isn't terribly heavy (just more-so than DMB), but BTBAM is straight up prog metal.

This might be an unpopular opinion, but I prefer the slower bluesier versions of Cant Stop to the version we have today. Which is only like that because the band was lazy and recycled an old 12 year old demo from 2006 instead of reworking it.

Straight up. The version from Live25 (8.25.00) is especially great. What a fantastic, jazzy outro.

I don’t like any version of can’t stop. The song is gross.

I’ll never forget getting a good old Can’t Stop TD and later a Shake Meh TD one show in 2018. Why couldn’t it have been a Stone TD and a JTR TD or something. Dmb

Dave hates it so much. He doesn’t even want to play his guitar on it.
