Sure, but you could rip the audio from the YouTube stream (or just download Chadizzy's MP3s) and put that on your phone or other devices and still listen to it for
free. My point is there's not much incentive to
pay for just the audio if you're willing to do a little extra work.

The drive in is suppose to raise awareness for great causes. The greatest viewership hype/interaction was the 2006 show because ppl wanted to see video of an old school show. If the band wants more awareness and donations for causes playing a bunch of 19 or 18 shows isn't going to do that. Many people i know stopped tuning into the newer shows unless it was a show they attended.
The band should sacrifice it's old content/potential profits for the good of raising money/awareness for charity. But they are cheap and lazy and hoard good content and don't wanna give anything good away for free.

Agreed on the bold. It's not like they don't already make millions of dollars from live releases anyway, and it would probably generate some good PR for the band if they did give away primo content for a charitable cause, so it's not like it would be a huge loss for them.
