Burgers at AJ Bombers are the cat's pajamas. Great sides and homemade frozen custard too.

Is now the time to book campsites? Will everything near the venue be filled up by now? Trying to budget this out correctly and don't want to wait too long to get locked into a site.

Lots of the more well known campgrounds in the area are filling up. Our group was shut out of a couple, with it being the holiday weekend in addition to DMB, the sooner you book the better.

Anyone ever order Warehouse premium for Alpine?

    I've seen mixed locations ranging from 203 P - 202 Z.

I ended up in 202X. I did it both nights at Creek last year and they stuck me in a side section N1 but only a couple rows back off the pit. N2 were amazing dead center.

Significantly cheaper for me to fly in and out of Chicago so that's what I decided to do. Does anyone know of any good places to stay between Alpine and ORD? Gonna do a rental car and hoping to stay in a place that's a little cheaper.

Are you talking about a place to stay for the night before heading to Alpine the next day? Or somewhere to stay for the entire trip?

Want somewhere between the two, place to stay between N1 and N2, and then after N2. Not a tailgater so don't mind a 45min-hour drive every night.

Update: I was able to book an RV site (30amp service and water) at "Rome Riverside Campground"

Its probably not the cheapest option but they have a 1:15pm and a 3:30pm shuttle to the concert. If we pick someones name to be close to she said they can guarantee that we will all be next to each other.

They also have a knee deep river that they allow floating and drinking on. I found it from a dead and co group and they all seemed to really enjoy all 35 acres of it.

The shuttle stays at the venue the whole time with a driver in it which is nice if you want to bring chairs or coolers and put them back in before the show.

    Cant wait!!

We have a pretty big group staying at Rome. First time for me, not sure about everyone else. We will be on the early shuttle to get into the lots for tailgate etc.

    See ya there!

I typically stay in the Kenosha area. Right by the highway, and not a horrible drive to and from the venue

I appreciate it! Probably doing an AirBnB in Kenosha that's not too pricey. Really looking forward to first Alpine trip!

I know you mentioned you're not a big tailgater, but highly recommend getting there a couple hours early at least one of the nights. The tailgate scene at Alpine is just unlike any other.

For the people staying at the resort.. did it seem more expensive this year? I booked a ski in/out on dec 1st for 7/4-7-7 n they have me at $306 per night, every night.. it use to be that on concert nights only?

7/4 is a holiday and I'm sure lots of people stay n0 for the shows as well, not surprising they'd charge the 'concert rate' for that as well.

@proudmonkey27 I'd look into Countryview or Snug Harbor if you're trying to stay reasonably close to the venue. Snug Harbor has a bunch of unique amenaties the other's don't. A bar/grill, water, sand beach —*it's a solid set up and they have tent openings as of today.

Wanted to stay at Snug Harbor this year, but called and apparently their a 21+ campground so my younger brother could not stay, sot that's a deal breaker. Settling with Elkhorn*—*it's a 13 minute drive, it's cheap and there seems to be plenty of openings for tent sites. Definitely not the most serene though.

This is going to sound noobish to some, but do Warehouse tickets come with general parking or is that still need to be purchased separately at the venue?

WH premium come with a premier/premium parking pass closer to the front and easy exit. You can buy it as well. Otherwise, no parking cost except if you enter before lots officially open. It used to be like $20 cash for early entry.

Check out the Chain O' Lakes IL - just south of Alpine by about 30 minutes or so. Try an AirBnb there if you like being on the water. Free shuttles to Blarney Island for live music is awesome. I would like to see the Tripping Billies to play at Blarney around the same time as the Alpine shows. We have a place up there and a boat... We boat during the day and go to the shows at night with some tailgating before. It's the absolute best.

Yw, The last couple times I've stayed at the resort and try to get up to the lots because it's an awesome tailgate.

I still remember multiple times driving around the country until they were forced to open early because too many cars were doing the same. One year, we just parked in front of the closed gate and started taking stuff out to tailgate and this cop in a Charger type car was screaming at everyone to get out lol.

If anyone is in need of a hotel, I have a double queen room at the Hampton Inn in Elkhorn/Lake Geneva that I can switch to your name and credit card. Check in Fri, check out Sun. Total price was $526.74 for the two night stay. Ended up booking an AirBnb up on Wind Lake for my group instead, but this is a solid hotel in a great location for anyone in need, feel free to let me know.
