yes, that im well aware of. Me knowing the demographics of each country isnt providing an explanation as to why one political philosophy works in a certain country but wouldnt in another.

It does seem pretty good at generating more wealth than other systems, but I think the trend over a long enough period of time is that wealth becomes concentrated in the hands of a small group of people. I think that's where we're at now.

I still don’t understand why Flynn lied to FBI about his conversations with Kislyak. As former DIA head, Flynn would know how closely Kislyak is monitored. Was he hiding something even bigger than we know? Discussing sanctions doesn’t seem big enough to try to hide at such risk.

No, it's not. That's not the reason that they hire accountants to hide their current money and evade current tax laws. You're acting like if new taxes were put forth, these folks that are currently evading taxes would stop evading taxes.

I've posted multiple links about people on the left evading taxes, including newly elected Governor Pritzker who maintains several offshore company accounts that aren't taxable.

I guess he's just waiting to pass his own tax laws to stop evading taxes?

Dunno if it's just spin or what, but one thing I've heard numerous people on both sides say, is Flynn was probably involved with some real shady characters, and is trying to cover his ass for the sake of either himself and/or his family. Going to prison is Disneyland compared to what some disgruntled Russian/Ukrainian mobsters would do to you/your loved ones.

There are two tracks here. Tax evasion (illegal in many cases) is part of the free rider problem. And legal tax loopholes/schemes that allow you to defer/avoid full taxation by reducing your effective rate.

You're acting as if tax law is static. 'Things are this way, so they could never be that way.'

I disagree. And so do these wealthy folks who are willing to pay more for their country.

If I had to venture a guess, Rog is referring to "non-whites". Those countries listed are largely homogeneous. But I'll also be told I'm wrong by him. He will continue to tell everyone they are wrong, while not offering any more insight of his own.

I'd have all federal agencies that have a pension liability declare bankrupcy so they can eliminate said liability and then use the taxes that were going towards funding the pensions (that shouldn't have existed in the first place) to fund all of my new, beautiful prisons. I'd obviously be encouraging states to do the same. #flawlessidea
