Thanks!! My diet is now very different that it was then, but it was because of the bike that I began changing my diet. I made gradual changes and was able to maintain them. Seeing the results in the mirror and on the scale gave me the motivation.

Pulled the trigger on this and very happy I did. I've never been to a spinning class and haven't ridden a bike in forever, but it's a great workout and super motivating. I've used it every day I've had it (5/5) and am excited to keep on using it.

I'm starting with 30 min rides, but looking forward to taking a 45 minute jamband ride next week that I found.

Really liking it. Lost some weight and feel great after each time using it. My one complaint is that I wish the instructors talked a bit less. Sometimes it seems like they don't stop talking the whole time.

I am always trying to beat my best score or beat people on the leader-board so I think it does a great job of motivating and its about as good of a workout as I could hope for in the 30-45 minutes I use it.

I've been doing a lot of the new tread workouts on the app lately and my poor bike doesnt get as much use. Just excited about the new variety of workouts!

I'm planning to come up with a routine to incorporate both.

Do any of you that have a bike do any of the strength or tread workouts yet?

I've logged 317 bike rides, 25 running/bootcamp workouts in a year and a half since i got the bike.

    Who are your favorite instructors?

I like Matt, Hannah, and Jennifer so far.

I'm just getting started with cycling - way far behind your level. I think I've done around 25-30 rides so far. Plan on getting really into after the summer.

So we pulled the trigger 3 weeks ago and it arrived at our house last week. So far I have gotten 4 rides in. Same with my wife.

I am definitely digging it a lot. I like that there is a choice between 20, 30, 45 and 60 minuted classes. Definitely helps out depending on what your schedule it.

However, my only issue is my own damn schedule. It's hard to do it in the morning because my 3 year old is way too interested in the bike. Also, work has been insane lately so I get home late. But I am making it all work.

My favorite part about it is that I can chose music genre for the ride when I am getting classes on demand. My first ride was Yacht Rock which made me incredibly happy. I have also done 80s music and 90s hip hop.

I have not tried any of the other workouts.

My go to instructors are JJ and Alex. Alex has the best countdowns! His monday 20 minute HIIT ride followed up by a regular 20 minute ride is a great combo. When I can't catch it live, I do them on demand.

In other news, I am officially down 50 lbs today. I was 226 on January 15th and I was 176 today for the first time. I haven't been quite so strict with my diet lately so my weight loss slowed a little bit. Not sure how much I have left to lose anyway.

Shit just saw this. Actually not great at the moment. With the constant work travel over the last 2 months, me being sick and some personal stuff going on, I haven’t had the time.

Good news is that I am back at it starting this week since shit is dying down. I was riding 4-5 times a week and I will be doing it again! Need to combat the unhealthy holiday food!

Cool. Sometimes life gets in the way. I had some weeks this summer that I only rode 1-2 times. Now that the weather is cooling off and I spend less time on the golf course, I am riding more. Its all good stuff.

Fuck yeah, well done! That's not easy.

In 2006 my peak was 247, and now a robust 185 give or take 5 lbs depending on season. I lost it with a combo of road bike, Muay Thai, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I switched over to doing nearly all of my transportation within 15 miles of my house by bike and its one of the best choices I've ever made, I can skip my workouts for a week and still burn plenty of calories.
