RAab Stevenson is the man

This happened at the Chula Vista show a couple of nights ago. I see this man (who I later learned was Dave's vocal coach, RAab) a couple of rows behind us with an iPad and in-ear monitors. He also had a crew pass so it was clear he was associated with the band. We made eye contact and he talked for a bit to two women in his row. He was around off and on but came back during the encore. I saw him give the women behind us one of Dave's guitar picks and a setlist with a Dave drawing on it that was also signed by Dave. They were freaking out. He then came down to me and said "I saw you" and handed me two of Carter's drum sticks that were used that night and a setlist (unsigned). It was my 25th show and this experience made it unforgettable. Just thought I'd share! Also curious if he does this nightly or what because I hadn't heard about it previously.

lol. it is cool. People here don't like him that much because of a video he was in though, where he basically says chill out to the fans haha.......they don't like being told to chill out by someone who 'doesn't know the history of the band', so they don't like him.

he seems super sound from when i met him, and from what people have said. cool story!!

*EDIT - there's a thread about it on here, if you scroll back a few pages maybe / google it. the video is on there... and shouldn't be too hard to find on youtube if you can't find the thread.

Ah fair enough. Well I am not saying he is the best vocal coach or in-touch with the fans kind of guy. I just know that he was cool as hell to give us the things he did.

As far as I know, the story goes that a fan was talking with him before the show saying he'd love for let you down to come back and he went backstage and told Dave before the show.
