Absolutely love LT2. The energy really is incredible and I love Santana guesting. The ASTB>PNP is nothing short of amazing. And that setlist, that is what I call a setlist-pure bliss. And all the discussion about the mix not being the best, I will certainly admit that it is not the best and it falls short mix wise compared to LT 15 through LT 18. But at least we have a released soundboard recording of this incredible show. That alone is something to be happy for. I also predict that we won't have anymore bad mixes as they seem to have this down now as evidenced by the last few LT.

Lt2 has always been one of my favorites as well. The Warehouse on that one is unbelievable and when Dave re-introduces Carlos he sounds like a kid in a candy store. Great energy all the way through!

You obviously never heard live trax 6 or 10

Very underrated LT. It is a horrible mix but the song selection is great. I would love to see a show like that now.

Ahh, but it wasn't "that night." One of the most awesome thing about that show was it started at 3 pm. The OSW is even better knowing it started in the mid-afternoon sun.

And they can't play every song every show. No Crazy Easy doesn 't diminish the set at all to me.

They should play midday shows more often. It really kicks this show up a notch IMO.

I wish I'd known what a rare treat it was at the time. It was my first year of DMB touring, had no idea a mid-afternoon show was basically unheard of.

I do like the earlier LW's The one from Gorge '02 night 2 is the best version of that song imo. This one just doesn't hit me like that one...

I remember a lot of people not really knowing what to do after Stay because of the time of day. Many thought the show was over because there were no house lights to turn on to indicate it was over.

A great many people decided to leave. My friends and I used it as a chance to scoot up much closer. I figured there was no way they wouldn't come back out for their then-standard two-song encore. Plus, none of the camera operators were leaving their posts.

i love the sloppiness of "The Stone" on LT2, it gives it some extra surprise factor. And as for saying it's the worst released, has anyone else listened to Carter's sick fill after the second chorus?

okay, okay, makes me feel a little better. I made a little compilation of Joy Ride, BOWA, PNP/Rapunzel, Stone, LIOG, Hello Again, and Warehouse (and maybe 41, I don't remember) from LT2 and I jammed to it in my car all last summer. So, yes I have some love for LT2.

One of my favorite Live Traxes. I laughed out loud the first time I heard his Jimi Thing scat, particularly "I swear I saw something brown fallin' out of his mouth the last time he opened it up"

    I love it. Great show.
The mix is not the best (Dave's guitar sounds a little muddy/boxy and his voice is a little too in front of the mix), but other than that I think it is fantastic.

I agree with you on this, and I think that has something to do with how much I like this show. Dave's voice can be heard loud and clear, and the energy and fun behind it is easily recognized. If you just listen to the album, you can tell with each song how excited he is for the show. (Not that he isn't for others, this one is just readily prevalent)

I'm not a big fan, and I was there. The sound quality IS terrible because it was windy as hell, and even at the show the sound wasn't great. Some good performances for sure (Sugar Will, Warehouse, Joyride, Hello Again) But the absolute worst sounding #41 I've heard...it was just an abomination between dave messing the verses up and carter's intro flub. Kind of a boring set too, especially wasn't a fan of the encore.
