Everything I've seen/read about this show certainly has grabbed my attention. Hopefully the right people get involved and produce a quality product.

One interesting thing to mention (Chad, you probably already knew this) was that upon hearing about this show, Kevin Smith and Paul Dini discussed, on the podcast Fatman on Batman, the possibilities of where a show like this could be taken. Their idea/direction of the show would be that rather than focus entirely on Gordon, it would focus on young teengage Bruce and end with him eventually donning the cape and cowl.

Coincidentally enough, after this podcast and ideas simmered and were discussed on the interwebs for a few months, all of the sudden Fox announced the change in direction of the show which sounded quite similar to what Kevin and Paul came up with. Here's an article summarizing these events.

Not saying that Fox took their ideas cause somebody at Fox could have easily come up with this same story/direction on their own, but it makes one wonder if they saw the traction that Kev and Paul's idea was getting amongst their fan bases.
