I loved the early versions of 2014, but this show is when they made the switch from the percussive softer acoustic sound to the crashing cymbals rock sound in the acoustic set. It was very difficult to even tell the difference between the 2 sets minus Tim's guitars... They just smashed the sound to try and over play the talking crowd. As cool of an idea as it was, it didn't work... DMB fans are not cool enough to sit and enjoy an hour of acoustic music with 20,000 other drunks... Plus they played weird songs that the non hardcore fans just didn't want to hear at the beginning of the night..... It needed a smaller venue. And I hope they do it again, but indoors and not try to make it a mix of acoustic, but super loud at the same time...
