According to the getting your foot wet and making a footprint test, I have pretty high arches and am fairly confident I probably supinate some.

My recommendation would be to go to a running store and get fitted, and if they have a treadmill a running/stride assessment. That way you find out exactly what style of shoes you need and can explore the brands that offer that style. Most stores will allow you to also 'test drive' the shoes either on the treadmill or for a quick run around the block. You will know pretty quickly how a show feels and if you like it or not.
