Some shows I've had parking included in the north Soldier Field ramp there, other times it hasn't been.
In 2014 for DMB the first night we just cabbed over from the Loop. The 2nd night we had a big carload so we just sprung for the $50 for the VIP parking in the Planetarium lot right outside the entrance and tailgated there all afternoon, which worked out great. I honestly had NONE of the problems that everyone complained about with getting in and out for those shows.
But honestly your best bet (unless you want to do the VIP parking and tailgate) is to get a parking space somewhere nearby in the South Loop - use the SpotHero or Park Whiz apps. Pregame down there somewhere, and then Uber/Lyft over to the show (or walk - about 20-25 mins.) Getting an Uber *after* the show near the venue is impossible, so just make the walk back over to your car from there.
