It's funny, I was in early college when Stand Up came out and I really enjoyed it at the time - there was an abundance of booze in my life then so that might have impacted my view. The boards overwhelmingly hated it so that skewed my opinion, I started hating it as well. Years later... I never sit down and listen to any one album beginning to end, just songs I'm feeling at the moment; Stand Up songs get played like 3 to 1 now when compared to Big Whiskey or Away From the World. Just saying.
Objectively, Stand Up might be the worst DMB album in terms of whatever you want to use for your definition, but those tunes get played more from me than the other two.
