And yet they have distinct, and clear, differences.
When you asked if, in countries with socialized medicine, the people own the hospitals and ambulances - that was you confusing communism (which is exactly what you described) with socialism. No one is advocating (as far as I'm aware) for communist medicine, so I'm not sure of its relevance. But to say socialized medicine isn't a socialist policy...that's some serious mental gymnastic right there.
