Better is obviously the opposite to the above.
Well the virus isn’t just going to disappear, and all of those diagnosed aren’t instantly going to heal, so of course it’s going to get worse. I don’t think anyone is denying that.

Here’s where the “what’s the big deal?” and the “this will get much worse before it gets better” crowds bump heads. Currently in the US we have about 400 confirmed cases and 17 deaths. What final totals would be considered bad? Considering the flu killed 60k+ in 2018 in the US, is there a magic number?

I’m a numbers guy. So when I look at global and national stats for this, I only have numbers from other, somewhat similar diseases to use as a base for good
Or bad.
