That said, there are still some bass legends alive that are in an entirely different tier than those 3 guys, and I believe they would agree.

Sure, yes, Fonz is one of the best bass players alive by mere fact that he has decades of success playing professionally--I figured the question "is he one of the greatest compared to his peers?" would be implied.
